i eagerly awaited mass effect 2 so i could continue femshep's relationship with kaidan. when i realized he wasn't in the game save a cameo, i was rather annoyed. hopefully the developers won't make that mistake with the third installment. anyway, i just wanted to thank the kast for all the lovely photos and well-written fanfics. you're a very talented group.

Sage, I just started to read to read your Valkyrie. It´s wonderful written.

I´m also reading all the others from Night, Sia etc. It will take a while until I´m up todate, but it´s worth it. I admire people who are so creative. That makes Kaidan even more alive and admirable. Just thank´s to eveyone and don´t stop being creative

No source.  Personal prediction.  My logic is... uh... huh.  It would be a dramatic thing to do; it wouldn't need much resources towards who you saved on Virmire to pull off; in ME2 Kaidan/Ash seems to have taken your place as the Alliance Hero; you could still weave a minor romantic subplot, before and/or after; if all the foreshadowing of gathering an army of armies is going to follow through, you need someone at the forefront of the Alliance fleet, and Hackett, much as I love him, doesn't have the same impact as Kaidan/Ash would.

As I said, I hope I'm wrong.  In ME2, I missed the utter chaos that occurred every time I took a Kaidan-With-Full-Biotic-Stats into a fight and let him do his thing... even if, in ME2, his skills would have been badly truncated.  Hrrm.

I just arrived at work and had to  sneak in here. Need some motivations to start working...
How is your writing doing? I just can´t get enough of Kaidan stories.

Still working on Walls, but came up with the next chapter for Panoplied, I should be able to get that done tomorrow night at work... that is if the criminals cooperate (I am a 911 dispatcher). I sneak in here on my iphone all night long when I am not busy,

Right now I am writing a scene between Garrus and Kaidan...after the funeral.

Yeah, makes me want to get back to Shepard and Cerberus... now that is sad.

Lol, that is a great pic. And welcome to the Kaidan thread. We do have a few guys who pop in regularly, I think your initial hello got lost in the swooning we often do (I noticed it because I am doing my daily catch up, I'm sure they wait til I've gone to bed sometimes ) You will develop an immunity to shirtless Kaidan, especially if you have visited the Tali thread, lol!

There sure are some gifted ladies in here, we are super lucky  
When I played ME2 we already had the squad mate list so I wasn't expecting Kaidan on the team, I did *squeeeee* when he walked out from behind the crates and was a bit deflated when he basically 'dumped', me. But I try to think positively about these things. It took Ross and Rachel 10 years to get together in Friends but the set up for that was right there in the pilot, I hold on to that as my bench mark. Friends without the break ups and are they or aren't they, would have stagnated. The set up for the Shenko, is right there in the beginning when Kaidan gives that beautiful smile in med bay at Shep for saying it wasn't his fault. BioWare aren't daft, I trust them to give us what we want. They gave us Sky, Carth, Alistair and Kaidan I don't think they are going to kill their biggest franchise by not giving their loyal fans the love affair they were promised.

I felt the same way about Horizon. I knew, that Kaidan wouldn´t be in the team. but when he turnded his back on my femshep...   No, I think I don´t need get into that, because I think we all felt about the same...
I´m so curious how they will continue
And yes, his smile in the med bay, just made my heart melting like ice scream in the sun

Night, I just finished reading the chapter, it´s so beautiful sad...

So, and now I will go back to work and write bills (I work in an office), even so the numbers  just seem to circle around in my head this morning...  Need annother coffee...

About the whole Kaidan not being a squadmember and appearing as the go see guy for Alliance support. That's my greatest fear for ME3, but then again is Kaidan really that important within the Alliance? And what if you cheated, would that mean you won't get Alliance support? lol...

I would also be fine with ME3 having the option of your Shep and your LI locking themselves in a private room to "work out issues" while the galaxy saves itself for once.

I can think of lots of "issues" for Shep and Kaidan to work on.
