It takes me normally 5-7 days and multiple beta readers for each chapter of my fic.

A natural wirier I'm not, before my attempts at fic it was over 20 years since the last time I did any creative writing.  I tweak and tweak then give it to Star then  Sia and read all their notes and tweak some more. 

Now I've got Night in on it too.

lol. no i said i WON'T pick on you. er...sort of. i see i left out the "i". i blame this cold - and sleep deprivation.

no picking on night. she's my buddy. 

re: editing and beta reading, as i was telling jilly the other day, i blame the music in afterlife and lack of kaidan in me2, but i seem to be writing a lot of smut. it is going to need some serious...consideration. not sure if it should see the light of day. at any rate, it needs work....

Shenzi, is my memory betraying me again or are you the one who made a post in here saying something about starting a new ME1 playthrough with a Ruthless Shepard and asking if going Paragon as a Ruthless would fit?

Morning all

Shenzi I know the feeling.  Its been a lot more than 20 years since I did any creative writing, lol.  I usually start a fic, send bits of it to Star for her opinion, then decide I don't like it and rewrite - its not uncommon for me to have 3 versions of any particular fic sitting here on my desktop and it doesn't help that I jump from one version to another, lol.  the end result is usually an amalgamation of all 3.  It also doesn't help that my muse likes to jump around and I usually have at least 3 different fics going at any given time, takes up a hell of a lot of space on my desktop, lmao.  Booty was the only fic that came from my brain onto the page pretty much how I wanted it which is probably why that one is my favourite, it caused me the least amount of angst, lol

Hello everyone, just dropping by to support Kaidan from the other Virmire survivor thread.
Also, I saw that Teen had to defend her work from some people who don't know when to keep quiet..
I just wanted to tell her that most really do love her work and are thankful for it.

Hey Pyro, good to see you. I haven't been on the thread much lately but as far as I can see the Kaidan love is going strong with so much fanfic being written its hard to keep up with it, lol. We also have a few new Kaidanites who've joined us in the gutter. And Wooing, like swooping, is bad, so hopefully we will all avoid any further Wooing, lol.

I doubt you will be able to start romances with the ME1/ME2 romance interests in ME3 if you didn't already romance them.

Not trying to flame/troll, but am I the only one who gets a little tired of seeing Jho's pics posted every few pages in this thread? I mean yeah, they're eye candy, but one can only eat so much chocolate until they become sick.



Anyway, keep up with the fanfics guys. Writing my first one I know how hard it can be to keep motivated and put aside enough time to finish one. I'm still working on chapter 4!

Do any of you use the Gibbed save editor for the 360? If so... have you tried modding classes to remove ammo powers and give them things lik dominate?
