okay, here's a kaidan question for you: favorite kaidan line - either game (though i'm assuming it will be from me1)

There's a reason Jho's Kaidan album has gotten 10,000 plus views, and we quote it repeatedly. It's really good, and we don't have tons of screenshots from ME2 to enjoy. The one scene we do have is Horizon, which is at best, a painful memory. I consider Kaidan fans very lucky to have artists like Jho, and lady winde, and Darazelly, in this thread. Just like the great fan fiction people share, it reminds us of the reasons we love Kaidan, and want him back in ME3.

I like that one too although I usually don't have Kaidan with me. I have Wrex and Tali since Kaidan is off with the Salarian Team and Ash trying to set up the bomb.  For some reason I always like to have Shep rescue Kaidan (and thus the Salarians) from the AC tower.  Makes me feel like Ash's sacrifice is even more credible for some reason.

@ Star I leave him with the bomb - the salarians get saved anyway even though Ash dies they are always in my hold!

just got up and had to sneak in here, while I´m waiting for my coffee.

I love Jho´s pics... never can´t get enough of them, the same with chocolate.... :-))

On Virmire I had Kaidan once with me and once I had Ash. Even so there is no way to avoid Ash´s death, since I just can´t give up Kaidan, it still makes me feel bad, when you see the cutscene Ash is sitting next to the bomb...

But it´s fun to save Kaidan, first time I got the cutscene, where you carried him over your shoulder (hope my grammar isn´t totally wrong) I just break down laughing...

And that´s for everyone, who is still around ;-)

i love this one, too. it's totally the way he delivers it. (hm... thinking alike again.)

@ star: i always thought that ash left the salarians. the last bit of radio contact you hear from kirrahe is that he says, "Williams, see if you can head them off" and then it cuts out. so i took it that she went to the AA tower on her own and got stuck up there by herself. 

but maybe that's also because i hated seeing someone die in the bomb cutscene.

For what it's worth.  Tough all around.

*considers*  Mass Effect has really good voice acting.  I think my favorite Kaidan line is, "I think we're gonna need a bigger boot, Commander."  The almost blithe delivery of, "I could shoot someone if it'd make you feel better," deserves a mention, too.

*sneaks in* Seriously any conversation where Kaidan isn't regarding Shepard as a commanding officer rocks my socks. Man's a dreamboat and sorely missed in ME2. Atleast Shep has an e-mail she obsessively reads nightly.

Those two Kaidan lines are some of my favorites actually!

Thanks for the clarification in regards to the salarians. In my first game I sent Ash to the tower and for some reason had no salarians at all in the hold after rescuing Kaidan from the bomb site. I did see that I had a couple of marines at the bomb site with Kaidan. I'll have to fire up an old save and see if I just didn't spot them in the hold for some reason -- like because there were too few of them.   The 2nd time around I sent Kaidan to the tower, rescued him and suddenly had a hold full of salarians. 

Anyway, my Shep likes to think that Ash's sacrifice means something bigger than just saving Kaidan, as important as that is to her.

If you get sick from seeing my pictures, don't look or just post something you DO like seeing. Everybody likes different things, nothing wrong with that just post your favourite screenshot/art/vid or whatever in the mix instead.
I mean, the one posting the picture obviously enjoys looking at it even if others don't and that's how it should be.
I think my pictures are nicely mixed with people's favourite screenshots, different art (though I would love to see more), motivational posters or just pages full of text tbh.

I'm very thankful people love my pictures enough to use them in their posts, but I understand not everybody feels the same. So like I said, post something different then (well if it's Kaidan related ofcourse) if you need more variation

hehe morning Night, thanks and I won't..it's no biggie, any crazy 911 stuff going on? 

I'm browsing through my Kaidan screenshots to clean them up a bit but even if two shots are almost identical, I don't want to delete one...lol....guess cleaning up the folder isn't going too well And then there are shots of him where he looks awful (awfully animated that is) and those shots make me laugh, so can't remove those either...well darnit...
