Yep... it is after you have picked up Liara but haven't done any main missions afterwards.

That's pretty sweet  I like Ash she is my gal pal in ME (Kasumi is the closest thing to a gal pal in 2) Kaidan is very manly and forceful in that scene, he makes no bones about where he is at and how he feels, he puts his cards on the table, I like that. Does Ash do the same?

I've even captured this one on video for myself, thou I don't really like it, as it was some kind of misunderstanding (like I said, I'm sure I friendzoned Liara, still this scene popped up). If people still call him a whiner after that, then, I don't know... Lots of L2s died or are mentally unstable. He got lucky enough to deal with migraines only, so he's a whiner? Sorry to mention this again, but looking for quotes I've found out some Kaidan related topics on the old boards.

Still, during that scene I don't ask him if he's angry about it. The response about heart pulled in two directions, makes my Shepard automatically "guilty", as she was already in a relationship and cheating or something. Again, it was misunderstanding. I just said I'll look how she's dealing with it. This just keeps me thinking of Liara as of a teenager in her first love. And a kid in general (well, she said that herself).

(A biiit of offtopic ME2 question, is it said somewhere what types of implants the Sentinels use? Wiki covers info about all other classes but Sentilel.)

I have no idea what implants Sentinels use, as you say they don't touch on it, Jack does mention L5's so it must be 3 or 4 if it is 'L', implants

I tend to assume most people registered during MM to vote for BioWare, lol!  I do like it but there are some real Kaidan haters on there, fortunately these posts don't happen that often, but I do feel like a lone voice sometimes
