Also... Ashley is jealous if Shepard is flirting with Liara.  She even makes a smart ass remark about it.  If you pursue a relationship with both then there is a confrontation (similar to the one that you get with Kaidan and Liara).

That's pretty sweet  I like Ash she is my gal pal in ME (Kasumi is the closest thing to a gal pal in 2) Kaidan is very manly and forceful in that scene, he makes no bones about where he is at and how he feels, he puts his cards on the table, I like that. Does Ash do the same?

That is not really weird, considering Garrus and Tali are actual ME2 squad mates, I suppose. I do wonder what we will really get in 3 though. It is not very likely we get that many squadmates to choose from.

I am fairly sure that a BioWare statement said that we would be surprised at how many would be recruitable for 3.
I would love to see a situation were you could pick a set number from all party members across the first two games, that would be great. If they said you can have say, ten party members and you had to drop the rest *cough* Tali *cough cough* 

I really don't mind Tali.  She's like a kid sister to my Shepard.  And she's one of the best done characters when it comes to development from ME1 to ME2.  She went from brave, precocious adolescent in ME1 to respected mature yound adult in ME2.  She wasn't completely derailed like Liara, or almost ignored like Ashley and Kaidan. 

What does frighten me is some of her more...exuberant? fans.

What I don't like about Tali is not the character but her fanbase and what bioware did for them.  Tali was like 17 (or something) in the first game but managed to age 7 years to the age 24 in just a two year time period.  It seems like there should have been an achievment called "Taliphile - romance Tali with a ME1 imported Shepard."  It is just gross and inapropriate.

My thoughts about Kaidan/Liara:

The threeway proposal is about much more than just "the three of us should do it". I think it's Shepard asking to have a complete relationship with the both of them and for them to just be okay with it. An asari might be okay with the concept of polygamy because of their view on relationships, but seeing as it's not a common human practice, it makes sense that Ash and Kaidan both refuse.



As far as a threeway because Shepard requests it and they've been together for a while, methinks it's in the realm of possibility, but it would depend on a range of factors.

Ah, I see.  That's cool, but I was really hoping that if you have an active ME1 romance and go after one of the ME2 options, your new LI would ask about it, or at least acknowledge it in some way.
