You know, Angelina Jolie does action movies all the time. She even replaced Tom Cruise for the lead in the one that's coming out soon, Salt. Why is she the only big name female star who gets these roles nowadays? I'm not a fan of Shepard's story being the focus of the movie, but if it has to be done, I want FemShep!

No, I don't think we'll get her, but it would greatly increase the odds that I would see a Mass Effect movie about Shepard, which are sitting at zero right now.

I'd rather see Scarlett Johansen play Shep, but if we need a famous face for FemShep, Jolie's will do.

Thank you Night and Sia. I didn´t know his name, but I´ve seen him in some TV Shows over here and in the Mummy. I really liked him in the Mummy, with the long hair... From the way he looks on the photos, he could be good. I think, I´ve to search for the DVD and find out about the his original voice... Oh, btw, if I watch the ME in the cinema, I wouldn´t be able to hear the original voice anyway, because the movie would be translated into german... Forgot about that... :-(.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I don't think Angelina Jolie would be my first or second choice for FemShep, but she gets action movies made when no other big name actress gets them right now. I'm not a fan of contemporary "chick flicks", so it would be so nice to see more women getting lead roles (as opposed to sexy helpless love interest roles) in action movies. And sci-fi movies have a history of strong female heroes, it would be very cool to see it continue.

I agree.  In the tradition of Ellen Ripley and Sarah Connor, I'd prefer FemShep over MaleShep.  And so would any daughters I have.   Jolie seems to be the spearhead for the female action hero, even if she's not my first choice either.  But would Mass Effect even attract her attention?

The Garrus thread has come to the concensus that he's late 20's early 30's.  No more than a couple years younger than Shepard.

According to the daily news on Cerberus network, citizenship has ranks, which goes up, so that definitely counts towards his seniorship, seeing how turian society is build up. Military ranks also count towards this. Wikia on turians has quite some useful information. According to the talk page on Garrus, he is supposed to be end 20's in ME2, although no one really seems sure about it. Guess the Garrus thread would be good for that info.

Turians are expected to serve the state between the ages of 15-30, but that doesn't mean they need to serve the military the whole time. Garrus did spend some time in the military, but that could have been only a couple years. His time at C-Sec could have counted as service to the state as well. Plus, debatable if he had seniority within C-Sec.

Some people have reffered to Italian (though I'm not Italian)  men as Hutts... so I guess it could be huttese.
