Oded Fehr is about the only actor I can seriously see pulling Kaidan off, both with looks and attitude.  My fangirl crush has nothing to do with it.  I swear.

It's just the voice.  The actor sounds like John Goodman and I was surprised to find out it wasn't him.

Okay, I know I'm pages behind but I had to say RAWR to this suggestion.    It wouldn't be quite the same but about as close as they could get.  And in the meantime some Shenko semi-fluff is now posted as Chapter 18.

I love your new fic, you're doing a great job balancing the angst with the fluff, and I really like the scenes of Kaidan and Shepard together, it's so nice seeing them as a couple.  I feel really bad for Liara, though.  She's such a sweetheart in your story, I want to give her a hug.

yeah Nathan would be great...but only if he loses a few pounds.  I've noticed on Castle that they keep camoflaging him with long jackets, above the waist shots (like he's preggers or something!) etc and when he does take the coat off he's not quite the Mel we once knew.....

As men grow up... they also grow out.

Lol.  Guess I was just surprised to see him grow up over the course of a season!

Soo, after quite some time my muse has finally returned - in the person of legbamel. I was reading "The Double" and I totally loved a certain scene (not spoiling here, but it's in chapter 16).

OMG, I totally love you.  A lot.  That's so awesome that my husband had to stop talking on the phone and see why I was giggling my head off and he doesn't get it, which made me laugh harder.  He doesn't read my ff, despite my explaining the parts that tickle me the most.  And thanks for the recommendation.  And the awesome illustration.    Is it okay if I add a link to the chapter?

Recent KAST fic updates seem to have come from (in no particular order):
Jaer, Sia, Night, Sapphy, Shenzi, Sage, Chem, Kioux, Sesh, Star, legbamel, Fort, and Joisan.  (Please forgive me if I forgot someone.  Besides me, obviously.  See sig again.)

Teen's Interrupt, Eilam's Carry On and Kirjailija's Standard Issue Life are all very good, with the added bonus of being complete and ready for reading.

And Sinvraal, though not a KAST-er, is one of the best writer's on ff.net, imho.

It's kind of sad really.  I think it was a case of misunderstanding between the Reaper and Shepard.  It was only a baby after all.  The red stuff was just it burping up it's meal.  Also.. it was just trying to play peek-a-boo when all of a sudden jerk face Shepard started shooting it in the eyes.  Poor Reaper baby.
