A drabble, because I am a bad, bad person.


... um.  So, I've got some longer fic ideas, but I'm having trouble developing them.  Would anybody be willing to beta/check my logic for a bit, at least until I'm solid on my feet?  I'm mostly worried about characterization/universe mechanics, so it probably won't be anything too deep....

Also, I squee at the art.  And the fic.  There is so much talent around here, I am in love!

*blush* thanks. i'm working on it. i just went back and did some tweaking of the chapters i posted last night because sometimes i put stuff up and then decide i'm not happy with it.

anyone else do that?  anyhow, i want to edit one last time before i put up new stuff. and i can't think of a story title.

I'll edit a chapter after it's posted if I see something I want to change, it was really bad early on writing JBHTBA because I was still getting used to writing after such a long layoff. 
 
I still plan on going back and readdressing the first 3 chapters of it at some point, I'm not particularly happy with the way those turned out.

I have about 5 fics currently in my rewrite pile, including the sequel to Booty. They went up briefly but then I decided I didn't like bits of them so they are waiting for me to get the urge to rewrite, lol

Hey everyone, just checking in to say hi before I go get my beauty sleep. Darn 9hr shifts at Tesco...oh well they forgot my last break so I got to go half an hour early

So yeah I'm still alive and on planet Earth, I just finished my exams this week and any other time I've been too distracted by a Mr Big Boss and a Mr Solid Snake...hopefully I'll be able to get on regularly again now I'm back yo normal college hours and don't have to worry about revision, so talk gutterific randomness with you all soon! (NH Hugs and cookies!) NN.

It is also somewhat creepy that immediately after the conversation ends, you are already five minutes away from the relay.  ... Implying that you've been five minutes away from the relay through the entire love scene.  ...Implying that Joker may have been flying around in circles, if not SPYING.  *paranoia*

I can honestly say that I am a habitual stealth tweaker, particularly when I am uncertain with something.  Although I've made genuine mistakes before, like having a line I meant to put in be totally missing between two dialogue tags, so... justified tweaking!

And titles are the worst.  Heh.  Sometimes fics name themselves!  Other times... yeah, no.  (I tend to go with song titles, in that case.)

hi ss. @ sesh and shen (wow, alteration anyone?): glad to know it's not just me. it's often just a tweak, but i got the chapters up and then realized i'd gone a out of character for a few lines. bah. wanted to fix that.



am now watching da clock until i can go home and get back to the writing.

The terrible thing is, you can hand him the "I don't think I've had the pleasure of you serving under me," line immediately before the "not now," line.
