how is that even possible? i couldn't even keep the shepard who i was planning to be romanceless from romancing him. some people have more willpower than me.

I'm the same.  I started a number of games where I was determined not to have my Shepard romance him but all it took was the smile in the medbay and my determination melted into a pile of goo, lmao

I do wonder if LIs will be romance options for people who didn't have one beforehand in ME3, and how they'd handle it. I would think that while you're worrying about ending the Reaper threat once and for all, starting a new romance wouldn't be a priority. It would be funny, though, to suddenly discover at the end of the series that you're interested in someone you've worked with for a while.



Sigh. We really need any little scraps of info. I would gladly settle for a ME3 teaser at E3. Pleeeease Bioware???

I actually think when we get closer to release and all the teasers start coming out I'm going to purposely isolate myself.  There was something really exciting about playing the first one with no preconceptions.

Wow...that's harsh.  I was thinking more along the lines of you get neither, not one dies.  Of course, if you have the Virmire scenario (which is now becoming synonymous with kobayashi maru) and then the one you wanted rejects you because of the decision...that would be ultimate punishment for infidelity.

There are people who would have no problem "Virmiring" Kaidan/Ashley or Liara after ME2.  Characters who don't follow their PC without question or have issues of their own deserve to DIE according to their logic.

I would love it if Bioware would thwart the Liara and Virmire Survivor haters and keep them unkillable in the last game.  People who don't like them can simply not choose them to be in their parties.

I really don't want to see this happen, I don't even want to see the two LIs confront each other.

If Shepard started up a relationship in ME2 it should just end the other relationship.

My ideal scenario for cheaters: either you only get the ME2 LI or you get neither. Or failing that (and this is what I think the most likely scenario is) you have to choose which you want to keep and you'll have to work a little harder to regain their trust.  No fighting over Shepard allowed; I'm sure most all of our Shepards would not appreciate that.

okay, okay, my thought is probably WAY too horrible to do. i just am so terrified that they'll pull another virmire and i just want kaidan/ashley/liara to be with shep in the end. 

with no demon baby situations.

though truthfully, i think shep would handle demon babies better than the DA:O crowd. just sayin'

re E3 info. I'm guessing that we'll get a Legion style teaser trailer and not much else. If there is any information about the ME1 LI's it will probably be the standard "they will play an important role in ME3" nonsense that we got before ME2. I hope I'm wrong and we get something concrete regarding Kaidan's role but I think they'll keep us in the dark.

however, i would also be pleased with such a statement as it would indicate that the me1 LIs were not forgotten in the waves of tali and garrus love that followed me2.

not that i don't like tali and garrus. but...heck, you know what i mean.

Meh, Sesh, EA has already Turian Councilored the rumors of ME3 being at E3. I think the best we can hope for is some new DLC info since Overlord comes out Tuesday.

While I believe Meghan Shepard deserves what she gets, I just don't want what she gets to be that horrible.  She is my Shep, after all.

That seems reasonable.  I would HATE some ego-stroking cat fight over Shepard, I'm not interested in turning my character into even more of a Mary-Sue than the game already makes her.  There's nothing wrong with moving on and having a new love interest, but "punishing" the old one is not something I'd want to see. 

I just want the Virmire Survivor and Liara to have great roles in ME3, after the treatment they got in the second game.  The devs said there was a good reason for holding them back, so I'd like to see our patience rewarded.
