Especially when they come bearing such news as Staff Commander Alenko's imminent return.

You killed the last remaining enkindlers as well.  The Hanar could be bearing news like... he will return as an enkindler.  Never trust the Hanar... they pretend to be nice but they always want something from you.

Also... it's hot here.  I'm jealous that they live near or in the ocean.  Where i live it is arrid and 100 degrees on a good day in the summer.

From a gameplay standpoint... Shepard dead = game over, so yeah.  And even if Saren went down, Sovereign would still be around.  And whether or not someone else (like Liara) got the Prothean beacon and Sovereign speech.  And whether Kaidan and Ashley could actually pull off the Normandy mutiny without Shepard....

On a tangent, considering whoever is at the tower dies offscreen, I once wondered whether they got dragged off to Sovereign instead.  It could have been interesting to have to fight Kaidan or Ashley in the final fight... ...but too predictable, I guess.

(And I am jealous of the PC mods.  I wanna be able to change the hairstyles.  And I want the Alliance clothes back.  And I wanna be able to take screenshots.  Bah!)

That it is. I pictured her somewhat similarly myself. She strikes me as a classy dresser when she's off the ship and not in uniform.

I get the feeling that she's not going to be in the next game because they didn't make her completely plot invincible (she'll survive the tank regardless, but won't survive without the escort). The rest of the crew talks about shore leave after you rescue them from the mission as well.

Personally, I think they should have made the escort "specialist" a necessary position.

Greetings from planet Tali'zorah. *bows down to Ecael* I agree, it made it too easy to simply pick weak team members to escort the crew. And though I do hope Chakwas is in the next game, it's likely it will only be a cameo, such as the first game characters in 2. I would hope Bioware adds more depth into the quests you can and cannot complete depending on surviving crew members. They kind of keep digging themselves into a deeper and deeper hole, as with the series' progression, more crew members have been kill-able. Though giving instant gratification in the choice and consequences, in Mass effect 3 and beyond this means either adding numerous cameos, blowing certain characters off (to the tune of raging fans, of course) or making very time consuming quests upon more quests for the certain characters (which some gamers won't even play the first, second or third time around).
