cheese
lol
Well it's all fluff and romantic to counter the last, kinda sad pic. Just not sure where to place the cheesy couple yet...either they are in the CIC while the crew is on shore leave...or in the briefing room. The first is just a lovely background, the last makes more sense I guess lol
I dunno, it's all happy happy joy joy

For me it definitely was. I love Steve since Pyre in Guild Wars opened his mouth. I do not watch anime, especially in English, so I don't know his most popular roles. Now I've heard the "I predict an imminent getting the f%#$ out of here". Usually he only talks and talks (Even Grunt barely shouts something, and I tell you, Grunt doesn't have that something Pyre has. And I don't mean the tail, fur, four ears, claws and fangs), but I've heard him screaming like he mean it and swearing like a sailor, and I got overexcited.Ecael wrote...
Steven Blum voicing a character in one of the games/trailers was probably the high point of that whole keynote
Just a small fyi: Painkiller had Cam Clarke (Liquid Snake, Sky, Blood Elf males, Medivh etc) for Daniel.
Second reason is that I was waiting for People Can Fly to finally show what they were cooking.
I'm not an expert, but ME doesn't have true "transparent" textures. It's a matter of the engine I guess, everything in this game is solid and shiny. All the hairstyles were made with caution so they wouldn't clip or dissapear under other textures. I don't quite know how to explain it. Thou buns and buzzcuts doesn't match my concept of futuristic hairstyles (for a marine, well... yeah. And few of them were almost identical), yes, we could get something more extravagant.sagequeen wrote...
i LOVE marge shepard: name, look,
everything, so i must say i'm glad you kept the cut. i only wish some of
the upswept hairstyles had "wispys" of hair around the face - like the
bun style from da:o. alright, enough about the hair. truthfully,
bioware could give us fifty haircuts and i'd still want to see more.
Heh, thanks, it's kinda rare someone says Marge looks okay - she would be embarassed I guess
Sorry for the wall of text.
It was quite obvious that ME3 won't be on E3. The mistake has probably something to do with the demo. Hell, Overlord is just a matter of hours, I can't wait to shoot something. I'm being tense lately.
I hope Kaidan will drop by to the thread soon and entertain us a bit. Maybe that would actually inspire me to do something more than few lousy pencil sketches =p

And I thought I was alone in my adoration of Pyre. I figure out ways to use that Charr, whether I need a ranger or not.
And just to say good morning, and stay on topic:

Question for those who are around; do you think there's any chance that Kaidan will be featured in marketing for the last game?
On the one hand, he was non-existent in marketing for ME1, as was Jacob in the lead up to ME2, as MarketingShepard does not hang out with human dudes. Realistically, we would only see Ashley in trailers and preview videos, as she was the cover girl for the first game, and got to appear in at least one trailer for the second.
On the other hand, the idea of having either Ashley or Kaidan on your team, depending on actions from the first game (or the sex of your character if you're starting fresh in ME3), is pretty unique, and it would seem like something they'd want to highlight in marketing leading up to the last game. If the ME2 squadmates are available in ME3, they have a chance of being dead, but all of them have a chance of being alive too. Only Ashley or Kaidan would be alive or dead based on past actions. If they also have completely different missions related to them, and different abilities, it would seem like something to emphasize to potential players.
Am I being too optimistic? I know we all would love any little scraps of info about ME3, no matter how small, but it just occurred to me that this may be the first time we get some inkling about the leading human male party member, even if it is just to announce that he is an option.

Feeling a bit verbose today? (JK)
I don't know, I think that they should include the Virmire survivor, but they will more then likely have Liara, which we all can have.
As for Kaidan, well wouldn't if be nice if Female Shep was used instead of the male Shep. Or how about both... if you look at the trailer they have playing they mention John but not Jane... they should really ...
Now I am getting verbose, such a long post for such a simple question... no...

Unfortunatelly for us the Bioware Shepard is John Shepard, male. He'll be grouped with one woman sidekick, see Ashley for ME1 and Miranda for ME2 and an alien, see Garrus for ME1 and Thane for ME2. Mostly anyway. I don't think I've laid eyes upon a single official thing with Kaidan in it, whether it is a website theme, a promo poster, a mug, anything. Male Shepard has that trio theme, apparently. So, no we'll most likely get shafted as far the promo is concerned, but they will put all LIs in the game, and for me that's the important thing. Although I've been chatting with shim friends who also complain that they wouldn't mind seeing a FEMALE Shepard with her male sidekick and an alien as promo for a change. I don't keep my hopes up for that.

However, they seem to have decided that variety in ad campaigns confuses people... *snorts* So no fem-shep or Kaidan for us.

Regardless of what they do, I'm not preordering or even purchasing until I get definitive proof that the story plays out in a satisfactory way. ME2 was extremely boring for me and I'll be just fine not completing the trilogy if ME3 is the same way.
