Cons of Romancing Kaidan in ME1:

• The power of love can't save Ashley.

[*]I honestly don't know what I'm going to do with Rachel.  I have to get by the minefield that is Kaidan's romance first.  (I can't unlist! ugh!)
[*]I hope to have one utterly single game with her for both ME1 & ME2, just to see what happens in 3.  But she'll have at least one Thane game.

I have to agree.  Just looked at the "story to date" trailer on the main  Mass Effect page.  They actually use the words "one man" in talking about the story. If all I knew about ME was the trailer, I wouldn't have a clue about FemShep.  If I could figure out a way to avoid purchasing ME3 without biting my nose of to spite my face, I think I'd be willing to do it. I get pretty tired of Femshep's being ignored.
