Leliana was one of DAO's most popular characters. They're more likely to do a Garrus origins something... which wouldn't really interest me
Let's face it... we're a minority group on this thread. We're female, most play femShep and we like Kaidan.

Well, you missed the smut talk earlier.

Uh oh, looks like we need positivity and happy thoughts right now!
Positive thinking: Kaidan will be the first squadmate we meet in ME3, the romance subplot will be satisfying and engaging, and the main story will be wrapped up in a suitably epic and well written manner.
Also, there will be ridable shifty cows.
And a happy thought:
Thank you for those happy thoughts, Teen... The smut turned angsty.
I hate to agree with you fort...I do.fortunesque wrote...
I don't expect them to make any Kaidan background dlc.

Good Night, everyone :-)
Time to sleep...
Actually, what I was thinking (or hoping) is that if the Shadow Broker DLC is ever produced, both Ashley/Kaidan and Liara will be temporary squadmates for that mission.fortunesque wrote...

Any romantic conflicts between those two squadmates were resolved in ME1, and the writers won't have to deal with what would happen if someone brought their ME2 love interest to the Shadow Broker mission, since Shepard will be working with two squadmates already.
It would also be easier to bring back Raphael Sbarge, Kimberly Brooks, Ali Hillis, Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale to voice a DLC.
EDIT: Also, at the end of the mission, you'll get an apology from Ashley/Kaidan, which varies depending on whether you've romanced them or not.

They did re-texture their armor and faces - and the homogenized animations means that there's no problem including temporary squadmates (like Wilson from the Lazarus Project). The only thing they'd have to do is voice the dialogue and combat calls. If they really wanted to save time, they could just voice new dialogue but re-use the combat calls from Mass Effect 1.fortunesque wrote...

It's a good idea, but I'm very skeptical as to whether or not they want to do something like this with these characters. Liara seems to still be popular and the devs seem to have put more effort in to her.
The Virmire survivor... not so much.
Maybe you'll "run into them" again once Liara brings you to the Shadow Broker's base. After all, like any government, the Alliance doesn't like people sharing classified information, and Ashley/Kaidan may have a different reason to be there.FireEye wrote...
Then again, I get the impression (haven't played them) that the Dragon Age DLC is modular and the Mass Effect DLC isn't. Fighting the Shadow Broker is probably going to be something you can do in the context of ME2 while still working for Cerberus.

EDIT: Also, it would have made more sense if Ashley/Kaidan jumped out mid-battle on Horizon and started helping Shepard with the Collectors/Praetorian.
