My kind of girl. But after a while here this stuff gonna externalize itself.
Welcome!
(Tell us something about your Shepard!)
Well my Shepard...her name is Shayenne. Age: 32, from Earth, never knew her parents. War-hero! She's an Adept. As for her character: she is a para-gade
In my head she is friendly to those she cares about and she is fair. Yet she had no trouble killing Fist. She doesn't give a flying rat about people like him and depending on her mood she either kills them or lets them live. She is open-minded, interested in aliens and their culture and history. She is very blunt, tough and addicted to coffee! Being a war-hero got her all kind of benefits. One was getting free coffee at Seattle's Best whenever she visits Earth plus ENOUGH coffee supplies WHEREVER she goes. For free as well of course xD
I created her after what I think is a tough woman. I think she is very beautiful, yet not pretty. The only thing her and I have in common are haircolour and hairdo.
I have a thing for green eyes and a face that shows personality is ten times more beautiful to me than a face that looks just pretty. What else do you want to know? XD
The reason why I have big troubles reading fanfic is that I used to be a beta-reader for A LOT of fanfiction stories a few years back. Mostly Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, LOST, Battlestar Galactica (new series) and SG1/SG:A. In the end I just got tired of a) the same stories,

BAD GRAMMAR - I'm the worst spell checker you can imagine, for both English and German when it comes to stories, c) stories that not only bored me out of my mind but also were an insult to every readers intelligence and d) off-character characters!
I have to admit, it might be different for a RPG video game since we all have different ideas of our Shepard, but the characters around us are still the same. So I just don't see Kaidan being the total bad-ass tough guy that cheats on Shep with EVERY girl that comes along and stuff like that, if you know what I mean. The list is endless. I can be a pain in the ass when it comes to fanfiction. If I read it and am asked what I think about it, there is only two options: 1) I don't say anything at all which means I didn't like it for one of the before mentioned reasons. 2.) I am telling you the truth about it. And if that doesn't start with "hey I like it" then believe me, you wish I'd gone for option #1.
There is only one fanfiction that really managed to absolutely AMAZE me and that was Harry Potter and the Golden Fortress, which was a fan's attempt of writing her own 7th Harry Potter story after the Half-Blood Prince was released. That story was the BEST I have ever read!
So I am very torn about reading ME fanfic.
