My problem with a lot of fic writers is they screw up the military crap. I mean, hell. If you have to copy whole cloth from David Weber, Battlestar Gallactica, or Joss Whedon, et al, do it. At least they extrapolated space battles from wet navy tactics and procedures.



Ahem. Scuse me. Reading a fic that's irritating me. It's written all right, technically speaking, but the author is missing some key points. I'd link it but it's Sharrus.



Going back to aPoV now where I can write a space battle that makes sense.

@Night: Next time you update your list, could you add Lady Winde (http://ladywinde.deviantart.com/) to the art section at the bottom? She doesn't do exclusively ME stuff, but she used to be much more active on the thread, and we still link her art a lot.

when i first noticed this thread, i figured i could catch up and then maybe join in. finally i gave up after awhile and realized that with the alacrity of the kaidan comments, i'd always be several hundred pages behind.

I did that as well after trying to catch up for a few days and just dove on in.

Back from my run. So help me God, I am going to be fit and trim by my 21st birthday if it is the only thing I accomplish this summer.



And to make this Kaidan-related, somehow I always imagined him as the type that would enjoy running, either alone or with Shepard.

Ha!  No kidding.  I found this thread a couple dozen pages in but could never catch up on the original.  Nice to know, though, that I'm not alone in my Kaidan love.  Here's hoping that it actually means something in ME3.

Ah to be young again... when I was in college I was running an hour and a half a day in the mountains (it great... I think I'm going to get back into that).
