@PureMethodActor : For those few guys who chose Kaidan over Ashley and didn't want him to be their bf? I don't see the point of making a loyalty mission for just those few. And if it is also for those who were faithful, I'm going to scream. Loudly.

I'm against it because it's a really bad idea for Kaidan to get back together with Rahna. She and the incident with Vyrnus gave him his extreme caution, to the point that he held back some of his biotics before Eden Prime.



There's nothing salvageable there IMO.

Hey... I'm not a 19 year old... I like attractive women and a woman can be sexy without being sl*ty.

I'm against loyalty missions period... I never understood why I had to make Garrus and Tali loyal (they were already my friends).  Miranda and Jacob worked for Cerberus.  Zaeed was getting a ton of money from Cerberus.  I saved Jack's life.  Legion is trying to prove to organics that the Geth are not bad but want to help.  Grunt likes to break sh*t.  The only characters I can see as needing me to make them loyal are Samara, Thane and Kasumi.  They have no stake in the suicide mission.

So fort.  I was looking for camo fabric so that I could create my alliance uniform for our ridiculous mob of Kaidan fans that will happen one day, you know I can't find a dang one that uses dark blue instead of black as the darkest color.  It's driving me bonkers!

On a more serious note: I agree with you here. Besides, he already can has his relationship with the doctor on the Citadel grow more serious, if so desired. I don't see the point of linking him back to Rahna either. There is about 15 years or so since now and last time he has seen her. Let it be.

I am one of the possible "few" guys who saved Kaidan instead of Ashley. I am most interested in having the loyalty mission for any character to be of good quality as well as developing the character in some way. But to answer your question, I would not mind if Shepards (who did not romance him) could nudge him into a relationship with someone who is a good match for him.



However, I believe this should only happen if the player decides to steer Kaidan in that direction, rather than it happening on it's own without player choice. I think that is the best route, not only because it provides another choice for the player, it's also possibly more "fair" or some variation thereof, for the people who did romance Kaidan in another playthrough or are fans of him or whatever.

@PureMethodActor: I hate to be offensive, but making a plot just to plug plot holes that didn't exist is just bad writing. He was over Rahna, and she moved on with her life. Uniting him with the ME version of the little red-haired girl turns him from a mature man who got over a crappy past into a stalker. And bringing Vyrnnus back is also just poor writing. That's not a loyalty mission, that's a crappy episode of CSI.

The whole point of the loyalty missions was to find closure before facing certain death. His test of loyalty to Shepard, male or female, centers on his relationship with Shepard and Cerberus, not clearly resolved issues from his past.

Fair enough. From a story point it could still work, like regardless of what happens between him and Rahna, the story of someone trying to avenge Vyrnus could be cool, and Kaidan could get a chance to justify himself and apologize. anyway just shooting it out there if ME3 is gonna have more loyalty missions (which I hope they don't since everyone who's loyal should still be loyal lol)

I think the idea would be a decent side quest but you don't need Rahna actually involved.  I don't want to have to start tooling around the galaxy setting my teammates up on dates, regardless of their LI status.  We've got work to do!

i'm just not that interested in loyalty missions. also, i stayed true to kaidan so i'd rather do other things to him in the game than dredge up his past.
