Yes day trip tomorrow and have to get up at 0400 hrs. Yeah and normally that is like 2 in the afternoon for me... I wish I coud go on day trips, but at night.  Unfortunately things don't stay open at night... go figure.

I read it   I like short stories like that  But are you sure about the date? You say it starts a year before enlistment but Shepard enlisted at age 18. In 2183 Shep was 29 for all we know, which means in your story he was 13. Don't mean to be smart-assy or anything. I was just wondering. Other than that, I really ilke that story. I love background stories. They leave so much space for own interpretation and creativity.

Maybe I'll start my own one day. But I'm not really sure about my Shep's past other than she's grown up in the slums.

I'd love to read more of such stories. So to the die hard FF fans out there, do you know any?

I love love love all those Kaidan screenshots. Since I am far from starting ME2, I am not even sure if my Shep is going to stay faithful to Kaidan. I think I'm going to decide when I'm getting there depending on how I feel during the entire "getting dumped" scene. Last night I didn't get to play much either. *sadface* I installed ME1 on my laptop since my significant other requested his computer back so he can game MW2 again. How dare he? Doesn't he know that I have to save the galaxy????? Anyway, took me ages to download the game again from Steam! *kicks steam*



Then i transferred my save files which worked perfectly fine and when I started playing I realized that I had my steam settings set to english - accidentally.....YIKES! Don't get me wrong. I watch every little tv show or movie in english if possible. But for the game I just LOVE the german voices. Sound so much better....don't hurt me please! *hands flowers and cookies to everyone* So I set steam back to german and then it took another hour to download the german language pack for the game. YUCK! When I finally got around to playing it was late. But I managed to get another 3 hours. Damn you bioware for being so addictive. A hardcore gamer friend of mine had the frakking nerve to say I am getting a little obsessed! WTF? I mean, he is the one gaming EVERY little game and he is the one having a few thousand plus gaming hours on his steam account. NOT ME! I just used to game and then after finishing a game i moved on to the next one. Not my fault that ME1 is that good that I don't want to play any other game anymore! pfft.



Anyway....oh yeah, coffee for everyone who just started the day like me. And good night to those who just went to bed.



It's friday and I don't have any plans for the weekend. Besides sitting on my laptop and giggling like a schoolgirl when talking to Kaidan lol.

Then again, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you haven't played the scene yet. Just try to take how feels about the whole thing into consideration is all I ask

that's steam I used to play a lot of multiplayer games. Counterstrike Source heavily and Modern Warfare 2 a while ago but I don't have my desktop pc anymore, only my laptop and I actually didn't want to use my laptop for games. Oh well....DAMN YOU AGAIN BIOWARE lol.

that's why i put it into quotation marks. I didn't really know how else to call it. sorry ...lack of vocabulary sometimes
and yeah, thats what I am planning to do. I will see how I will feel during that scene and then I am going to decide what my Shep will do. But personally I don't see her as a cheater. But who knows. Gah I hate waiting. xD

I would be inclined to say that Kaidan does not in fact dump you during the infamous "getting dumped" scene.  But I may be reading too far between the lines in search of complexity.  (I'll be interested to hear how you come away from it).
