my femshep prefers driving just to annoy garrus. i imagine he is cute when you damage a wheel from haphazardly zooming around the traverse. also, i too thought tali was just a teenager in me1. i didn't understand how she aged so much from one game to the next.

as far as kaidan's coffee goes, i like to think he takes it black with a couple ice cubes to cool it down.

I hated the Mako when I first started playing ME, to the point that I quit playing for a few months when I was extremely frustrated (I think on the bridge on Feros?). I got the urge to play again, and I started using new tactics, and even started getting out of the vehicle to fight, when possible, and suddenly it wasn't as big of a deal. The steering is still wonky as heck, but not *that* bad.



Then I downloaded the Firewalker DLC, and I actually missed the Mako. How bad does a vehicle have to be to do that??? It's like they took everything bad about the Mako, and put it in a hover vehicle that you can't get out of and has no armor whatsoever. Ugh.

My adept was more lethal outside of the Mako than in it... not even a colossus could stand against me (because it was usually floating).

@ fort: i completely agree with your assessment of dumped/not dumped. if kaidan was really over shep, his conversation on horizons and following email (to me) say exactly the opposite. this is not a man who has moved on. this is a man so tired of trying to move on that he really, really just...wants to move on. but he hasn't.  is that making sense before my morning coffee? he sounds tired to me. but i think if shep was up for anything, he's going to take a little convincing. but if she's not, he's going to be devastated.

i skimmed the last few pages. did i miss anything other than the membership manbasket?

The 'trust line' -I play paragon and I always get it- it's right before he starts to walk away. I can't believe more didn't get it!

Meghan's not a straight paragon.  And was in a bad mood on Horizon.  I picked Renegade for her in most of the conversation.  Especially when he continued yelling at her.

so what's the trust line? i chose the initial paragon line (how YOU doin'? -*wince*) and then got pissy after that. i have not gotten there with kyrie yet, but she DOES have a tendency to smart mouth people. it's funny, in ME1, smart-mouthing people doesn't get you too many renegade points, so i imported her with, like, 4 renegade points and all paragon (i think the renegade points were from accidentally running over a monkey, too.) then in ME2, you can get so many renegade points just from sassing people. you tell jacob you're not sure if you trust him yet (Which she doesn't) and you get renegade points. so i'm just racking up renegade points out in the traverse.

Kaidan says he trusts you just not Cerberus. I think it's after she say "you know me you know I wouldn't be doing this if there was some other was" or something to that effect - I am in a car right now flying down a highway - but I have it frapped at home- I will post it tonight if you want to see the whole paragon convo on you tube ok

i think i remember this line now. "you know me. you know i'd never do this blah blah..." "i trust you, but i don't trust cerberus - and they're using you" or "they've made you think you owe them"



mostly i remember trying to get past the stupid scions...then the hug *squee!*...then kaidan inexplicably walking away.



i think i really sympathized with my shep in that scene. i was like...what...just...happened?

I liked the Mako. I always drove it with awesome luck landing in good places. Except a few planets. I think the one on a Cerberus Mission and one with the big Prothean Sphere and the space monkeys.
