Portrait I'm using wouldn't upload either and I waited for hours on end. Finally I went to bed but when I woke up it still wasn't there. What I did was logging back into DA, load up the save, save in a new slot and let it run for a while. (not picking up anything, just tabbed out and browsed the forums) Within like 15 minutes my portrait showed up

I will try that later on today, thanks for the suggestion

You're kidding me!  You have not played KotOR until you've played it with the Carth Romance Fix.  It gives you the correct romance-related dialogue in the confrontation after you escape the Leviathan.  Without it, that scene loses a lot of its power.

I followed all the steps, now I'm just waiting for the picture to be uploaded.

I had to turn back on all the online updates for DA, I had turned everything off within about a day of installing DA.

Yes, yes he does, well mention is a better word as talk implies an extended conversation.  The exact details escape me and as I'm looking for car insurance right now I can't go looking, unless one of the other kind, depraved souls on this thread has the info to hand

It is something about how his dad lives in Ontario (I believe).  His parents had a home there that matured to new beach front.  It takes place during one of his conversations about BAT. When he talks about how the Turian instructor would say he was at the helm of the ship that destroyed his father.

His father retired to Canada...Kaidan was born in Singapore. They don't really go into his origins at all in the game. He said his father served so I just assumed that Singapore was where his parents were stationed at the time of his birth. As for his roots a lot of people think he has some slavic in him due to his last name. His eyes have always looked like there was some slight oriental in him to me as well as his body build(for some reason I always think Brandon Lee's body type). We probably all see him a little different anyway.

Thanks on both counts - though I'll try deleteing a few of my characters on the website and see if that frees up space for new profiles

Ontario?  Heresy!  This woman is not a true Kaidan lover; we must excommunicate her from the thread! 

Actually, it's Vancouver.  And I suppose I would remember that more than most because my father happens to also have grown up in Vancouver before moving to Los Angeles as an adult.  The exact  words are something like this: "I told him my father wasn't even in the war.  He'd retired to Vancouver; my family had an inland home that matured to new beachfront."
