My Tess Shepard was my "Adventures of Semi-Ugly Shepard" on ME1, ME2 import I tried to make the best looking Shepard I could. Had both a woman's and a soldier's face, I think I did pretty good. Now, Justine Shepard in my Kaidan romance import, looks similar but lighter hair and blue eyes.

Oh, here's a couple things for the top page.

I can tolerate renegade in ME2 a bit more than ME. First part renegade was total ******! He appeared to me as a total blockhead who just knew how to swing his gun against someone's face. I still don't have my renegade achievement done.
In ME2 renegade actions seem more reasoned while paragon started to give out some black eyes on his holy crusade.

I totally agree with you, being renegade in ME2 is much more...better.

Yeah, the one thing I really don't think they did well in KotOR was make you take the Dark Side seriously.  Hopefully I can capture it better in my fic.

Now, enough KotOR derailment.

[sniff] Do want, too. I haven't yet figured out a way to sneak him on-board without Cerberus noticing. It's going to be sneaky rendezvous on surprise locations for the rest of the story, I fear. Having him through the O4 relay would never fly, even in an AU fanfic.

The difference between Renegade in ME1 and ME2 is that I could laugh off most of the Renegade stuff typically as Shepard just being a jerk in ME1. It was mean sometimes, but it didn't make me - the player - feel bad.

In ME2, there were alot of scenes that made me feel bad, shameful and dirty when I did the Renegade action. The Renegade interrupts weren't so bad, but the all out Renegade choices that you could make... eeeee... Posted Image

Sure it would.  That's kinda the whole point of AU fanfic.

(Well, not getting Kaidan through the Omega-4 Relay, specifically, but "things that did not happen but could be neat to see, regardless.")

In an AU fanfic you could always have Shepard give Cerberus the finger right at the beginning and go back to the Alliance.  Cerberus problem solved.  As for the O4- relay... they made it so easy to get everyone else out alive, why not Kaidan too?  I mean, really.  The more I think about it, the more I think that the whole "suicide mission" thing was just an excuse for Bioware to do what they wanted to do in the first place, which is essentially scrap the original LIs and try again.  If they make Garrus and Tali recruitable in ME3, I am going to be mega pissed because it would just reinforce that notion.

Bah, such thoughts do not sit well with me.  I need to go write some Carth-Revan flirting to clear my head of conspiracy theory-type thinking.

Some of the renegade options in ME2 were hilarious though. Like the one on Thane's loyalty mission where you can tell the kid that there was a bomb around if you didn't decide to punch him.
That has to be one of my favorites.

Hi Tig, is still our birthday. Thank you.

Ah lucky me. My day switched already ;)

On a more related note: I did like the fact that you can actually punch someone paragon style. Seems paragon isn't 'pacifistic in dialogue' style any longer.

I play renegade in both games and I renegadeize Kaidan in ME1. I make some paragon decisions, but I end up with over 80% renegade in ME1 and a full renegade bar in ME2.

My brand of renegade isn't being a xenophobic jerk like a lot of folks assume renegade is. It's getting people out of the way in the missions and not dealing with crap from people.

That's pretty much it fort, the renegade bar is almost empty in both of my playthroughs in ME1 and 2, but when I choose renegade options in ME2, I don't pick things like getting the Biotic god killed or anything like that...I feel bad for him.

Okay, it won't fly for me.  It just doesn't work in the context, plus Joker's reporting to him and that won't work if he's on the ship.  Plus think of the bonus angst when I say goodbye just in case I don't make it back.  :o  Plus the reunion when I do.  :wizard:

So is it just going to be neutral?

Please no... though I do like that they are planning to have darker story telling though (with lighter story telling as well).  Epic ending... Humanity conquers all or Shepard rides off on a unicorn with his/her love interest.

How about them mules you can find on some planet?
I think that's what Mass Effect 3 needs. Random herbavore animals on planets that are just there to look at
I don't know if that line was referring to Mass Effect 2 or 3 about Joker and EDI.

I'm just going to assume that is the black and white ending/s/, if you know what I mean. I can see a few endings with different shades of grey here and there.

Liara looks hilarious and Kaidan has epic hair.
It's also funny how the comment section is spammed with the same guy saying "tali is better in the second game" over and over.
