What's the story on the writers exactly? Who did what? Because it feels as if ME1 and ME2 had two different teams. 

ME2 had I beleive ten writers. Walters who was the lead was from ME, he wrote Garrus and Wrex. (which is why Wrex cameo was the best cameo in the whole game) The problem with Ash, Liara and Kaidan was Casey put a writer in charge of three characters he never wrote, nor are they the type of characters he wrote. He did a good job with the character growth and dev, however the reason why the scene sucked badly wasb ecause of Shepards dialog. It just plain sucked.

Because the ME2 romances are all so compelling and will tempt you day and night to cheat. I liked the romances in ME2, though. Tali's felt the most fleshed out in my opinion. Not really surprising at that.

Tali's was one of the least appealing romances I have ever experienced in games. I don't mind people liking it, though. I just think, the only thing she did in ME1 was talk abou the Geth and Quarians....there was no bond between us, I didn't feel anything developing (like friendship). Then in ME2, even though she KNOWS (I mean she has to, come on) that I am still with Liara (or in the very least, trying to make it work) and she still throws herself at me like that? I really didn't like that.......Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Tali, but a romance? Nuh uh.


Also, to make it clear. BW  UTTERLY FAILED in their attempt to make me cheat. I'll never do that. Not in a video game and not in RL. Just wanted to point that out

Oh just admit it Baal, you had Kelly dance for you! After all, that's not cheating according to BW :blink:

Ah thanks Yeah Wrex was great in ME2. Didn't expect that much enthusiasm to see Shepard at all but it was cute lol

Yeah because we all know that the ME2 LI's were so damn compelling, lmao. It was the ultimate cheese fest and the writers should be ashamed of themselves after the great Kaidan romance they gave us in ME1. (I am drunk as a skunk so forgive me). I mean really - Jacob "the priiiiiizeee" Taylor, with Shep talking like the galaxy skank, Garrus and his reach and flexibility and working off stress, and Thane with his dead wife syndrome. Not impressed by any of them. I like my cheese on bickies (crackers), not in my game romances.

Shepard was an ass on Horizon and I don't blame Kaidan at all for what he said and for walking away.  Thanks for that bioware writers.

Anyone try to mod the phoenix armor off of him?  I don't know much about ME2, and less on the PC version, but it seems to me that it'd be easy to swap out to the Horizon armor skin.

That would be wonderful. But no idea if it's possible. Like modding him into the ME2 cuddle scenes like they did with *gasps* Grunt. lol
It makes no sense what so ever to have Kaidan in your cabin, but hey....Shepard needs it

Ah.  Right, I was wondering about that, too...  But I've never actually looked at the cuddle scenes, so I don't know if they'd be worth it.  Photo-opportunities, I was thinking, but I suppose with you around we have that covered. 

Really, depending on how the game is set up, you could probably overwrite one of the LI squadmates with Kaidan.  Except his voice would be strange and it would seem like he took a really bad hit to his head at some point and thinks he's someone else entirely.  And Shepard would indulge him in this fantasy in an unhealthy way.

Let me go cheack the writing crew for ME and ME2. As far as I know some of the writers from ME came back and the lead writer for ME2 was a writer for ME (Walters)  I will BBL, if you are not onlnie when I come back I will pm you the writer list.

The only compleling LI to me in ME2 was for a male Shepard and that was Miri. My female Shepard however? Majority of my fewmale Shepards stayed loyal. I have two female Shepards who went with Garrus and Thane, but the others stayed with Kaidan and Liara. Jacob's romance was a joke, Garrus while has a cute romance scene, Garrus feels more like a good friend then a lover and thane, same as Garrus, good friend, but as a LI? Not really.

What? We just had dinner and talked ...... nothing happened !! :innocent: I've never even tried to call her up, by the way, exactly because I believe nothing happened, so there is no reason for any dancing to take place.

What's intresting is alot of the ME team was in ME2, with newcomers. The reason why the main plot failed hard is because Walter is only good with characters, not writing the main plot. The story in ME2 is in fact better then ME, but the craptastic plot sadly destorys it. Plus the more writers you have, the more plotholes there will be. Look at star wars, I hope to god that ME does not become like Star Wars in the plot hole department.

Also, Kelly having a stripper outfit seems strange to me. I mean, when I read about that she dances for you and that you can call her up, I was a bit surprised. I mean we just had dinner, and even if there'd have been actual sex....why would she then come up in a stripper outfit to dance for Shepard?
So many strange things in ME2.....
