I've really enjoying everyone's fic -- the one thing that will keep me going until ME3.  And of course it inspires me to add my own little bit of silliness.  This one's a bit less about language and rather more of the fluff as the Shepard/Alenko vacation continues.

@Star: Love the latest misunderstanding... and there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to own more shoes than clothes. Not that I do, atm, unfortunately. *laughs*

How many of you excepted the Council's offer? It seems like in ME2 being a Spectre doesn't help or hinder you. If you let Garrus carry out his plan on his loyalty mission nothing happens to you, if you take the renegade option with Thane's loyalty mission nothing happens to you. @ Fort do you ever wonder why no one takes the time to use their omni-tools to record certain things. Wouldn't it have made sense if Shep recorded all those logs he/she found in the Cerberus facility? And even then would anyone believe them? Crazy writing all the way through
The only time anyone ever used the recording option on their omni-tool was Tali in ME1

I have a few questions for everyone and would like to know what you all think.

1: On Horizon do you think Shep is more sad than angry?

2: Do you think that the Council offering you your Spectre status back just a big PR stunt so that if Shep is victorious they can say that they sent Shep on this mission?

3: Anderson believes you about the Reaper threat whether you go to see him before Horizon or after, so why doesn't he believe that you are using Cerberus as a means to an end?

4: Why doesn't anyone trust you? I know the biggest problem is that you are working with Cerberus but, it still feels like everyone is against you

1.  My Shep would have been very sad, if she had been allowed to react naturally.  Instead she was pretty monotone, and unconvincing.  For a woman who occasionally pulls out stirring motivational speeches, it was pretty pathetic.

2.  Yeah, I do think it's partially public relations, but it's also to have some pretense of control over Shepard.

3.  I have no idea.  Why can't we ask the Systems Alliance Military for help against the Collectors, and blow off Cerberus?  Maybe Anderson is wondering that too.

4.  I didn't even trust my Shepard.  I was totally waiting for the fake spoiler twist ending where you find out that the Shepard you play as is a clone, and Legion is the real Shepard, to be true.  It didn't make a whole lot of sense, but neither did the real plot.

good morning all,
i have to admit, even though i've been through Horizon so many times, i always choose the "don't go, join me" option at that one, even though i know he wont. is it just me stupidly thinking that one day he might say yes?
until you guys mentioned it here recently, i never knew about the clinically dead line because i always chose the neutral option. i could see my shep thinking "i wasn't even conscious" more than, "i didn't want to hurt you" so i never realised that you could actually tell Kaidan that you were dead. i guess that if you use that option, it would hurt more when he walked away from you because it indicates that he doesn't believe you. though i really can't blame him. death is not something people recover from often.
