I have an incredibly silly question. If Kaidan were on the squad for ME2, where would you have put him? I've been toying with an AU where he does join after Horizon, but I'm at a loss for what his regular station would be and where he'd sleep, though I suppose he could bunk with the regular crew.
i know you're doing a miranda/him thing, so well, *I* want to put him in the starboard observation room. kasumi can move in with samara. that starboard room has a great view, a huge picture window, a bed, a bookshelf, a bar, a couch...
lots of possibilities.
my mind has so gone to the gutter re: that room...

eta: And I think we do generally swing round to putting him in the lower decks and/or cargo bay somewhere... quiet, and places to practice the tech-y stuff. *shrugs*

I'd love to see him in the cockpit w/Joker, as the opportunity for banter would be lovely, but there's no co-pilot seat in the SR-2. Prolly cause of EDI.

I think there's a seat near him, not a co-pilot one though
Coversations would probably be awkward that way. He'd probably stand up and go to the airlock whenever new conversations were open.
Let your mind go wherever it wants to with that statement.

Jilly, I just checked, and there is a chair to the right of Joker on the SR-2 as well as 2 navigator like chairs on either side, more then enough room for little old Kaidan!!!

Thanks a lot! I'll try this tonight as soon as I get home. Last night, I didn't check back in here because I was too busy *coughs* playing ME2 to do all the loyalty missions and then the Illusive Man sent me on the Collector Ship....gah I hate when I HAVE to do missions <_<AkodoRyu wrote...
OK, I remember now. This is for ME1:Bindings=(Name="F10",InputMode=BIO_INPUT_MODE_NONE,Command="tiledshot 3",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)
- Make sure to backup your "Config" folder (my documents>Bioware>Mass Effect)
- Open BIOinput.ini there with Notepad++
- Find [BIOC_Base.BioPlayerInput] section.
- Find keybinds for F10, F11 and F12
- and replace them with:
Bindings=(Name="F11",InputMode=BIO_INPUT_MODE_NONE,Command="showhud",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)
Bindings=(Name="F12",InputMode=BIO_INPUT_MODE_NONE,Command="ToggleFlyCam",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)
Now save the file.
That will bind:Mind that if you want do screenshots with this method, you must always disable GUI and high quality bloom effects (And this is the part I don't remember, it's probably in BIOEngine.ini, find Quality Bloom=TRUE, turn to FALSE, should make the black trimming over the screen dissapear, as well as some lighting effects - screens will seem "sharper", for good or worse).
- Screenshot in game 3x larger than the resolution you use to F10 (located in my documents>Bioware>Mass Effect>ScreenShots)
- Toggle GUI with F11
- Toggle flycam with F12
When those two options are on, it will totally mess the screenshots up like this one.
You can also change the number (3) that multiplies the resolution of the screenshot, but don't overdo it. Remember that taking the sceenshot with this method takes a while.
There was also an option to "freeze" the game, use flycam+screens, but I don't know this one.
Flycam tends to get crazy. Should have send it by PM, but maybe someone else want to do this.
For ME2 just download this.

First, I TOTALLY love that my FemShep is not a girly girl! I LOVE strong women that look hot in uniforms! That's why all those pictures of FemSheps wearing dresses or sexy outfits kinda creep me out! And that's why I am totally fine with ANY male squadmate NOT defending her against ANYONE because she can so totally step it up for herself!
And if Kaidan doesn't like her being tough, then screw him...but we all know, he LOVES that *giggles* I think that's why I have such a weakness for Jack because she has SO much of my FemShep.
Second, yesterday I tried to go for Garrus and OMG that was just WEIRD! so a BIG NO to romancing my Shayenne with Garrus! Friends yes, sex, no! After seeing a Jacob romance vid on youtube and nearly barfing all over the place, I am pretty sure I won't go there either. So NO Jacob or Garrus for my Shayenne so far! And oh dear God, would someone please tell my boss to stop running around the office like crazy? He's driving me totally nuts while I'm trying to finish this post *grrrr angryface*
To the posted questions a few pages earlier.
1) Horizon sad or angry....well I felt completely angry at first and sad later....so while ON horizon my Shayenne was totally ANGRY and AFTER it very sad!
2) My Shayenne learned one thing....she doesn't trust anyone....unless it's people she is or has been fighting with! So the council can pretty much blow her. She wanted that status back in case it may help her later on her mission. I'm pretty sure, she will tell the Council where to stick it, as soon as she gets the chance.
3) Anderson is someone she trusts. But Shep understands that as much as she makes people gain HER trust. she has to gain other's trust. So she can see where they are coming from. Same goes for 4)
All in all I never understood, why only so LITTLE people put themselves in her shoes. I mean, she was used after her death for PR. Then she was dumped by the Alliance. Seeing from what had happened to her former crew and from what Anderson had told her. she KNEW that going back to the Alliance would have put her in a place where she couldn't have done ANYTHING! You would think that people like especially Kaidan or Ashley WOULD understand that. On the other hand, I don't know yet what Kaidan is working on with that secret missions he's been going on. We know that he's been investigating the missing colonies, yes? But LOGICALLY one would ASSUME that after horizon the Alliance would at LEAST talk to Cerberus about what info they have about the attacks so they could convince the council to investigate more. Seeing that Shepard's still a Spectre, she could have used that status like she did in ME1. So she HAD to work with Cerberus to actually achieve something. She had no other choice, even if that meant alienating everyone who has ever trusted her. But Galaxy comes first.
Love Triangle:
I never had a love triangle
I remember that Kaidan mentioned to me in ME1 that Liara seemed interested in me more than just in a friendly way but I cut him short by telling him that this wasnt the case and then Liara told me that it was obvious that me and Kaidan had some sort of relationship going on and that she never would want to get in the way. After that, it was all about romancing Kaidan. I never really had to "choose" between them. So I'm kinda curious what you guys are talking about here *scratches head*
sooooo....i think i got everything covered. Sorry for the long post.
Good morning to who's already or still up, good night to those leaving
and YAY GERMANY won last night! wooooohooooo

i see we are still talking about horizon. i would say not much good came out of Horizon.

except for what many people have created in the ways of pictures and fanfics because we were all disatisfied.
www.youtube.com/watch Kaidan Liara confrontation scene, i've never gotten it in game as i usually shutdown liara as soon as she says anything like that.

oooh thanks for the link....yeah i so didn't get that one! i was all about romancing Kaidan!
I am reading legbamel's Oh Those Lips at the moment and yes, I can relate to that. Thane has awesome lips. I will have to see how my Shep "talks" to him. If it is as weird as with Garrus or Jacob, then it's another no. I have to say, my Shayenne is VERY frustrated!

Thane was a big maybe and it worked out fine when it happened, but how it ends could be very sad unless a cure is found.
Garrus' was a bit awkward because of the cross-species part and because he is her partner in crime and has been for a while. It worked out better than expected and can continue with time.
But Tess as a whole does not care for romance, she just wants to get the job done and let other people be on the posters. As long as the Reapers are stopped, nothing else in between that could cause problems with the missions. Big no-no.
(Can't say if my own crushes on Garrus and Kaidan, along with a bit of Thane might change that if it was heartbreaking enough.
Justine Shepard on the other hand <3s Kaidan...

I think it's less a matter of us putting ourselves in Shepard's shoes, and more a matter of how, in our various opinions, Shepard wears different sizes and styles of shoes. For some Shepards, working for Cerberus goes against the grain of what s/he stands for; for others, it's a necessary evil; for still others, it's a breath of fresh air after the Council or the Alliance was holding them back.
Fortunately, there are things we can all agree on.
