That's what it boiled down to to me.  I could only bring myself to do it once and I was shocked at how xenophobic my Shep sounded.  And then Anderson, Udina, and Kaidan all followed that lead.  I started a second run with that character.  Renegade doesn't have to mean species-ist.  Maybe I was just reading into it too much.

I generally don't go Renegade on Kaidan to turn him, but I am partial to the "Way to go, Team Milky Way!" line.

Although I also turn him down for sex just to watch him be frustrated, so I think my morality is not to be trusted.

I watching the video and struck again by how perceptive he is and what a good example of Lawful Good but not Lawful Stupid he is. I knew there was a reason beyond looks that I loved him.



If I do decide to do the Kaidan/Miranda fic, would there be any interest in periodic excerpts and/or letting you know when I update? Or should I keep my crack pairing to myself?

i would probably say the crew who followed shepard's orders unaware that she was breaking orders. i would say in a case like mutiny, only those who would need to know would know.

Any crew members who weren't in on the plot when Anderson went to take the lock off the ship.  I doubt they gave the entire crew details of what was going on, someone might have gone and snitched...

I would definitely be interested in reading it.  If it's at all possible, I'll be taking Miranda and Kaidan everywhere with me in ME3.

In my game, they'll just be friends, though.

I don't think it's the crew... they're mutineers as well. Any non-Alliance personnel that went with them could be "kidnapped" though.

I thought it might be some of the crew, who we may have had to bind and gag in the medibay or something, but, unreliable narrator aside, Anderson makes pretty clear that they'll follow Shepard anywhere.  I also thought the 25 ballpark might have been indicative of people following me who were on the crew, but not the full compliment.

So it could be the crew.  Or some of the crew.  Even if the crew I talk to seem pretty darn happy with my shenanigans.

Tali would make some sense.  Wrex, no; Garrus, not unless he was ordered back to C-Sec (and he sounds like he flat-out left, so no); Kaidan ... no.  The only one I could think of before, crew aside, was Liara, but she's obviously able to do her own thing.

I guess if we left without telling the crew beforehand and they chose to follow anyway, that could be a technicality.  (My main Shepard would be taking the full blame anyway, so at trial she'd claim to be be kidnapping them all I guess.)
