The suicide mission was very easy in comparison to other parts.

My first run through the suicide mission I hadn't read anything about it. I lost Garrus and Tali because apparently Zaeed is a moron and Thane is only pretending he can hold that barrier. I cursed for several minutes before I truly enjoyed the "boss" fight in my frustration. Needless to say, I restarted that one immediately. [facepalm]

Just got home, survived the day with a 2 year old...I'm exhausted though lol Need lots of kaidan comfort. 2 year olds have way too much energy when it's this hot outside, they should be sleeping all day long if you ask me :P

Heh, do I ever know what you're talking about!  I had to babysit my 2-year-old nephew week before last.  It's not as hard as it looks, really.  I found the best strategy to be "have plenty of toys and things around and then let the little guy do what he wants."  (or she wants; don't know what gender you're going to be dealing with)

Vaguely on-topic, for once:
Can you picture Kaidan with kids?  I bet he'd be an awesome babysitter, high-ranking Marine or no.

-Right on-topic, I didn't and never will get the paramour achievement. None of the ME2 LIs interested me and I can't get into playing male to do it that way (although even then I'd rather start at ME1 and get Ash!). Oh well, I'm happy to sit, wait and hope for the promised romance arc!

Yep, that would be me, Shotty.  Didn't realize until I rewatched Finding Nemo with my two-year-old nephew week before last that that was where the whole "mine seagull" thing came from.

Good Day Everyone!!!  The Night Crew is back online!!

*sing song voice* I go back to work tonight... at a normal time...yay for me!!!  *okay back to normal annoying voice*

@ Jo, Don't worry now that I started, I will have to keep reading it.  I will PM you though if I get completely lost so you can put me back on track.

@ Sage, the Hi Res,  That's what I was talking about when I got my laptop... which is hi res HD it changes the whole game!!!

@ Aslan, Sesh's random fics are all on the Author's list, and don't let her fool you, her stuff is great!!!

@ Jho, glad you survived the 2 year old... they can be hard to take.

@ Shenzi -  you need to embrace the pink.

@ Nick - yeah, scares me too!!

@J4N3 - hope you feel better, and they are right the suicide mission isn't that bad.

@ Phoenix - *whispering* you better be good, Eliot is almost in place. You will stop the torture!

I think that is everyone.... oh wait!

@ Yellow - thanks for stopping by, no your not gay, just think that your supporting a bunch of sweet ladies ( and a few real men that aren't afraid to support Kaidan) and their LI.

Okay if I missed anyone I am sorry, but Good Day Anyway!!

 again, that's just soo...WEIRD!

need clear separation of the characters and the players.

this is like saying because someone who uses a public computer has a facebook account and i use that same computer that ergo i have facebook too.  my main didn't cheat. my maleshep was not an import and so he romanced miri. how can you justify that the me1 LIs were all "cheated" on with that kind of record keeping?

makes no sense.

This.  I got the Paramour achievement from trying Jacob's romance with a non-imported femShep and Mia should not get punished for that.

It's easy if they have video games on hand that they spend all day playing.

I'd never be able to get anyone to do their homework, though. That's the parent's job...

*empathetic smile*  Two year olds are exhausting.  That's why I think the best part of being an auntie (or non-parent) is that you get to have some time with them and then give them back to their parents for the duration! lol.

I like kids - work with them regularly and have my own btw.  Just remember what it was like to have kids around before I was a parent! Posted Image

Make it more like fun and less like work, and you won't have a problem.  My niece loves to do her homework when I let her use my fountain pens or colored pencils.  Also, we do math with candy and shiny things like dice.

My nephew is already indoctrinated into the concept that learning is fun, thanks to a never ending supply of Pokemon and other Nintendo games, and discovering that algebra really is everywhere.

Edit to be relevant: Also, they both love to watch me play video games, and listen to me find hidden bits of education in my games.  Like designing custom Shepards, and reading mythology of planets.  And probing... let's not go there.

@ J4N3 -- I don't know about Zaeed but you can save Miranda for sure,

use this article on the WIKI  Suicide Mission scroll down it's label as such and it gives you hints on who to use when.  Don't want to post it here cause it has spoilers in it.

Good Luck!!!

#1 thing, don't have Miranda or Zaeed in any of the special jobs, and don't take them with you to the boss fight if you want them to live.

Actually you can use her to lead one of the teams / the one where the team leader gets shot ... cause at that point she can't die (but I don't know why).Posted Image

Miranda has special dialogue before the final battle, so she's immune to death until hold the line or the final boss.

My guide below ([1]) can allow you to calculate whether or not your specific hold the line team will lose people.

She is always with Miranda... you just can't see her because she is off screen.

@ ecal: your guides ROCK. i cannot believe you compiled all that info, but it's awesome you did.

@ jho: whew. 2 year olds are exhausting, especially kids that aren't your own. my job? watching the kiddo. this is why naptime is my fan fic time. ^_^ must recharge batteries...

back on topic, re: Kaidan w/ kids - i think he'd do fine with kids, but would probably be a little worried that he wouldn't know what to do. but again, he's stable, generous, and honest, and kids respond well to that.

back off topic:

i tried to teach the baby to give kisses. my hubby taught her to head-butt instead. she is now my little krogan - tackles everyone and everything and head-butts it if she likes it. i think this may serve her well in the future. teen boys, watch out.

Thank you. :wizard:

Also, since a HTL score of 2.0 is necessary for everyone (including non-loyals) to survive, as long you send a weak loyal as escort and bring another weak loyal to the final boss, survival should be guaranteed.

(Weak loyals: Jack, Kasumi, Tali, Mordin)

Miranda and Zaeed have to stay behind to hold the line, of course.
