Yeah, me and my son are joking a lot, too. He is teasing me because Kaidan. He always saves Ash ... And my daughter and me are discussing DAO a lot... (Alistair, Zevran... lol...) My husband used to play, but since he´s self-employed he doesn´t  got much free time and quit playing:?

rofl!  I get teased over Kaidan too.  And my son has started referring to everyone out here as my "imaginary friends".  Like he doesn't post in forums himself.   

lol ... sounds so familiar...   And I really surprised him, when I started to post in a forum, because I was always pretty shy about this and have never done it before... *giggles*

I've been a gamer for a long time now (going back to the original monkey island in college).

Posting on forums isn't anything new for me after all the MMOs I've played although my husband wondered exactly what there was to talk about for a single player game. I just told him it was a fun experience to have a large collection of female gamers to chat with, something you don't find in MMOs.   Although he did catch sight of Jho's artwork on my screen once and wanted to know what the hell I was looking at.

I started gaming at the age of 13 or so. Snakes and Gorillas under DOS lol. Then Prince of Persia and Civilization. And Commander Keen. And ever since that I basically gamed whatever I could get my hands on, mostly rented games from the video store because the only game console I have ever owned and still do is a PS2. I always got bored with games easily. Never was THAT hooked on a game like this. So I'm gonna go ahead and say that the Mass Effect Universe is totally my thing! The game I have always been looking for. It's in space (I'm a trekkie and SciFi fan, what can I say?) and it has a great story (I love books)

To type first and then to post it... and I´m still learning ... lol...But it´s so much fun to exchange myself with others here in this forum :-D So... and now I will kill geth... lol...

I've been a gamer since the Nintendo first came out. I stopped while I was in high school and college. I got back into it when I saw how awesome the graphics were and great the stories were. Incidentaly... the game that got me back into it was KOTOR.

i have a quick question. how can i start ME1 with my main femshep that I have already finished the game with? do I get any bosuses from that? if so, do i just load my last savegame and start all over?

You lose all your paragon/renegade bars and your journal is cleared.  Squadmates skillpoints have to be redistributed.  But you keep everything else (levels, equipment, your skills, etc).

You import the save through the new game screen (the option only shows once you beat the game, I think).

I started gaming with Pokemon and the gameboy color, those good 'ol days. Grew up next to a couple of guys that gamed so that didn't help with steering me away from it before it was too late.



And WOW, the character creator downloaded overnight and I'm surprised at how much better PC is than the Xbox. I can get up close and the camera is a lot better.

I've also been a moderator (different site) as well as posting here and have also done MMOs.  Since I started posting here, my usually very tolerant husband has just tried to avoid glancing a my screen after catching me drooling over one of Jho's sekrit pics once.  lol!

LOL!  True, but they're largely sekrit cuz we can't post them on the forum.... I don't really care if husband sees them, although he clearly doesn't want to!
