@Jane (^^) and Batt, thanks. I love character creators and to create characters. So thanks again, I'm glad you like my "work" :-)
I have an album here with some of my characters (from Dragon Age, too). Comments appreciated xD

Also, we Liara fans are hoping for Shepard to be rescued for once aswell. We'll go berserk if we have to rescue Liara (as the damsel in distress that she totally isn't >.
I think we'll just meet Kaidan randomly on the Citadel or some other planet. Nothing fancy .... :-/

//edit: damn....got some work to do....bbl ;)

... that thread gave me Shepard-Envy.

Thus I post a Kaidan to make up for it.

Anyway ....... to stay on
the topic that is Kaidan, do you have any idea where we might see him
again? In ME3 I mean. Is it likely that we'll just meet him on the
Citadel or would we run into him while on a mission?

Good question.

I'm pessimistic that it won't just be another cameo or two.  Although I think it would be nice if he showed up on a mission and joined your crew... unless they change the recruitment format again, it seems like he'll have his own specific recruitment mission.

Then again, with the DLC characters and Legion... he could just show up out of nowhere.  Like some kind of biotic ninja.

... I still think there's a change he'll exist only to bring in the Alliance cavalry at the last moment.  <_<

@ Baal... first like your Shepard :-) I tried to create a male Shepard and totally failed... :( So I use Sheploo for my male playthrough...

I`ve no idea how or where we meet Kaidan/Ash... Maybe we meet them during a mission ...

@ Fire... If we have to wait for the end of the game to meet Kaidan/Ash I´ll be very angry :(

We already suffer, don´t we...

Oh, there's so many of those threads, and I like to watch other gamers screens. ;p

Where we might see Kaidan? I think he'll come around and try to chase Shepard to confirm what hapenned beyond the Omega4 relay by himself. As.. Jane says ( :P ) would be nice to have "our" ass saved by him somwhere in the battlefield. But commander Shep is oh-so-great he/she never needs help, so this is unlikely :/
I just hope this would happen early in the game :(

Other option that seem possible to me, Shepard comes back to the Alliance, trying to mobilize them to take action. Kaidan as a part of them would help contacting the brass or just trying to save Shepard's clouded reputation.

Kaidan/Ash at the last minute... Ah. Wonderful. That would suck x.x

I'm more concerned if it'll just be a copy and paste in dialogue for both them so they don't spend much time on them. That would be...depressing.

After seeing something on the Liara Thread a couple days ago, about Jacob and his comments to new members after joining your team, any thoughts on what he'd say to Ash/Kaidan?

"I've seen you in action, Commander Alenko, your biotics could come in handy... That is if you're willing to let an Alliance Soldier watch your back."

EDIT:

the stepping stone to the Alliance is the most probable role they'll play apart from being a/an LI. Not sure how much string them alone can play, they seemed like they were Anderson's personal Agent.

At the end of ME2 there's this video scene where the crew of the Normandy faces an entire fleet of enemy ships.....at least it looked like it. So I was thinking that this might as well be the beginning of ME3. Like, the Normandy goes back through the Omega 4 relay, does some stuff and is followed by other collectors and a reaper or whatever and while encountering them, trying to survive this battle, the Alliance interfers because they have heard rumours about the Normany going through the Omega 4 relay and their own investigations have brought up enough evidence that Shep has been right all along so they jump to Omega in case the Normandy needs help and they get there just in time for an epic battle to save the Normandy or at least its crew and of course Shep gets Kaidan back (or Ashley or Liara). I WOULD LOVE THAT! Silly idea, but still....that would be super awesome!

Hey everyone....hope you all are having a good day or night Posted Image I was just wondering is it just me or does Sheploo seem to have the better romance options? And why is it that one of fem-sheps' romance options going to die? That really sucks.

Oh yeah and we better not have to wait a long time to get our Kaidan back...How are we supposed to work out our problems if we don't get him back until near the end of the game Posted Image

I think it would be pretty neat if Ash/Kaidan was the Spectre sent to "take Shepard down" and ended up joining instead.  ...but... meh.  I'd also like to go straight back to the Alliance and get reinstated, so... yeah.

As for Jacob's comments... um.  Judging by how my Shepard's first interaction with him went, it'd go something like this:

Jacob: "So you're Alliance, huh?  You know, Cerberus doesn't have any rules against fraternization."
Kaidan: "... what?"

This. And after Jane and Batt came up with, I don't think I'll beat them with something better.

... this does not bode well.

We debated the size of the Ashley,
Kaiden, Wrex role in ME2 for six or seven months - most wanting them to
have major roles instead of cameos. The project managers and writers
were caught completely off guard by their popularity, particularly by
Wrex's popularity (they must not have been reading the boards).
Unfortunately, the ME2 team roster was set in place a year before the
writers and others found out how popular those three were. So its a
case of them not paying attention to the fans. It was a heavy duty
debate involving many Bioware employees - writers, project managers, etc
- the only name I didn't see participate directly was Casey Hudson. It
became clear they realized that they had made a mistake and had to do
damage control. So Casey came out and said "We wanted to make sure your
ME1 LI's would live to see ME3" - well why not do that for the ME2 LI's
as well? Cleary he was not stating the real reason behind the decision.
At least one writer, Patrick Weekes, was a lot more forthcoming about
the roster decision and other things.

I wasn't here until recently.  Does anyone know how true this is or where these debates might have taken place?

Poor Jacob.  If only he didn't jump to conclusions about people wanting to have sex with him, he would have more friends.  :(

fire, i'm not sure where the posts are that back up that guys posts, i tried looking through the old forums then to try and find examples . didn't get very far, the text just hurt my eyes more there than in the new forums.

i do find it hard to believe that wrex was not considered popular. wasn't he voted sidekick of the year or something?

unfortunately, seeing all the "i left him to die on virmire"/"i wished i left him to die on virmire after what he said on horizon" comments i've seen on these forums (and the ones i discovered in the old forums when looking through it just then), i can understand their logic with Kaidan.

anyway, can someone post a Kaidan? seeing negativity towards Kaidan made me sad :crying:.

EDIT- so it wasn't a brick of text that hurt my eyes to read.

I read that too. Not sure how true it is though....One thing I did notice is the devs aren't as active on this forum as they were in the old ones. I guess I could cough it up to they are working on all DA2, TOR, ME2 DLC, and ME3 but, it still makes you wonder how much we are going to get the shaft in ME3Posted Image

I've been a gamer since the Nintendo first came out. I stopped while I was in high school and college. I got back into it when I saw how awesome the graphics were and great the stories were. Incidentaly... the game that got me back into it was KOTOR.

You were about 7 when I first started gaming, but then I had a break for a few years and got back into it with Pokemon Yellow on Gameboy, lol! (I'm 44)
