That was the one thing that I hated about DAO, you didn't really get a happy ending. If you wanted Allistair to live he had to bang your best friend. If you weren't a human-noble you got dropped like a hat. So it makes me wonder are we going to get a happy ending in ME3

Ah, my first character was a commoner-dwarf... but I didn't try and make him King, cause he was a Warden first, no politics for us. I did try and spare Loghain though.

Ah DA:O. I'm not sure I've yet forgiven Alastair for publically dumping my human mage.
Hopefully the ME writers will keep in mind that this a different universe and not try to recycle DA:O here. If they want to give us the Indiana Jones happy ending (Casey referenced this in one of his interviews) then that works for me!
@ Jane: You're right about not messing with angry women...at one point we had a discussion on this thread which involved pitchforks, boiling tar and multi-colored feathers....
