2) Dog or cat person? - Neither. I don't think he ever had any animals growing up.

3) Do you think he was as reserved and careful before BAaT? - Not as much as he is now, but probably more than other kids.

4) Do you think he kept in contact or has met anyone from BAaT after its closure? - Doubt it. Wanna get far away as possible from that place.

5) What do you think his commendations were before being assigned to the Normandy? - Couldn't make a guess.

6) In spite of his reservations with Shepard, do you think he's a reasonably outgoing guy with others? - Only with specific people.

7) What do you think happened between him and Joker after the Normandy SR-1's destruction? -Tension, maybe a bit of blame. He'd probably blame himself just as much.

8) Do you think his current assignments are coming from Admiral/Councilor Anderson? - Definitely.

9) Football (Soccer) fan? - I don't think he's a sport guy.

10) Do you think the vuvuzela would set off his migraines? - Hell yes.

11) Do you think his next reunion with Shepard will start with tension or relief? - Tension. The non-sexual kind. Wants to trust but he can't at first(or even later, depends on the game)

12) What role do you think he'll play in ME3? - Stepping stone to Alliance and probably a LI.

13) Do you think he's a career Alliance military man, sticking with it until retirement? - At the moment, probably. Might change in ME3.

14) Do you think he'd have whatever the future version of a sweet car is? - Nah. If he used one I doubt it's his own.

15) Do you think he has his favorite childhood stuffed animal hidden away somewhere still? - Doubt he ever had one.

16) Do you think any biotic powers transfer to the children in some way? (Okay, not really Kaidan-
specific, but I always imagined he'd be headed for fatherhood... oh wait, maybe I should have asked...) - They might show potential, don't know enough info.

17) Kaidan: destined for fatherhood? - More so than other squadmates.

18) Do you think that, time permitting, he still calls his mother every Sunday? (I bet he would have written to his mother after being revived from the dead.) - If he has one, yeah. Probably not every Sunday though, just when he could.

20) Do you think Kaidan would find an evening at the opera a good time? - Dear lord, unless he wants his head to feel like it's about to split open, I think he'll stick with reading.

Kaidan: Serenity Shepard (Paragon) version

1) Do you think he's an only child?
He is the only boy, and has two surviving sisters.

2) Dog or cat person?
He is an animal person.  A cuddler.  Would have a farm if he could, with ducks, geese, dogs, cats, cockatiels.  Can't understand why Serenity didn't buy the space hamster.

3) Do you think he was as reserved and careful before BAaT?
Once he learned that being angry made bad things happen, he started teaching himself to be more reserved and self-controlled.

4) Do you think he kept in contact or has met anyone from BAaT after its closure?
No, he didn't.  It wasn't something he wanted to remember, and the people he knows now he considers his Alliance friends, whether they were in BAat or not.

5) What do you think his commendations were before being assigned to the Normandy?
Saving lives at Mindoir.

6) In spite of his reservations with Shepard, do you think he's a reasonably
outgoing guy with others?
He goes out, has a reasonable amount of fun, but is always sober enough to drive everyone home.  Or in Serenity's case, bail her out of jail.

7) What do you think happened between him and Joker after the Normandy SR-1's destruction?
There was a fight.  Joker tried to blame himself, and Kaidan kept him from doing so.  Then Joker admitted that he'd always had a crush on Shepard and was insanely jealous of Kaidan, and couldn't believe that Kaidan had moved on.  Kaidan tried to defend himself, saying that life has to go on.  Joker walked out and joined Cerberus.

8) Do you think his current assignments are coming from Admiral/Councilor Anderson?
Why, yes, they are.

9) Football (Soccer) fan?
He likes the social aspect of watching games, but could care less about the rules or the statistics.

10) Do you think the vuvuzela would set off his migraines?
A what?

11) Do you think his next reunion with Shepard will start with tension or relief?
If I have my way, it will start with chocolate.  Otherwise, tension, because that is more thematically appropriate.

12) What role do you think he'll play in ME3?
Shepard's right hand man.

13) Do you think he's a career Alliance military man, sticking with it until retirement?
Why, yes.  If his future wife wants to, that is.  If she wants to settle down and start a farm, that's fine too.

14) Do you think he'd have whatever the future version of a sweet car is?
No, he's too sensible to waste money on a car.  But ask him about his comic book collection....

It's been replaced with his Serenity Shepard action figures.

Yes.

Yes, because if he doesn't she'll call him.  Also, he likes her.  He calls his father every Father's Day for exactly five minutes.

No, it was a computer console.

shutting down a slaving ring, a rescue mission, work with L2 extremists.

no. kaidan strikes me as an introvert. it is possible to be an introvert and yet a very social people person (dare i say, i am such a person?). so while i think he gets along with people, he's not someone who goes out of his way to meet new folks. i think being transferred a lot goes with that.

7) What do you think happened between him and Joker after the Normandy SR-1's destruction?

never spoke. i think kaidan just wouldn't talk to him and joker couldn't bridge the gap.

8) Do you think his current assignments are coming from Admiral/Councilor Anderson?

yes. but in my fanfic, i think there are evil plotting plotters keeping him and shep apart, too, that anderson doesn't know about.

i agree with sia. he's a canadian, so hockey. though truthfully, if he spent his teen years off the extranet, i think he's probably come to fandom later in life

yes

hopefully one as fully developed as any other squaddie - more so, if the devs are good to us.

totally. unless the alliance turns out to be betraying shepard, in which case, he might leave them.

no. i don't see him as owning much, as he's always on assignment.

Haha, thanks for the kind words Sage, thou I don't draw as much as I want to. It's just that... I don't know how to commit on paper what I have in my head. Plus, I've never had the alibity to do portraits. No character I draw is resembling it's original (if it happens to have one). If you look onto my work, everything is so... Homogenous?

Must thank you once again, because I decided I'll do it. I can cram multiple characters on one picture by drawing them in small groups (2, 3 and then paste them together). I think I can draw about 10-15 of them...

7) What do you think happened between him and Joker after the Normandy SR-1's destruction? I think a part of him blamed Joker for Shep dying but, he blamed himself more because he left her to deal with the Joker situation on her own.

8) Do you think his current assignments are coming from Admiral/Councilor Anderson? Admiral Hackett. I think Anderson just requested him for the Horizon mission to see if the rumors about Shep being alive were true. And who else to tell if it's really Shep or not but one of her old crew members.
