Don’t know.  He could be.  At any rate, I suspect that he is at least the youngest and that his mother is sterile after being exposed to the element zero.

2) Dog or cat person?
Cat person.  Doesn’t mean he wouldn’t get along with dogs, though.

3) Do you think he was as reserved and careful before BAaT?
I think he was still an introvert, but I think he was probably a lot easier around people before he felt himself dangerous.

4) Do you think he kept in contact or has met anyone from BAaT after its closure?
I don’t think he kept in contact.  I think it’s possible he’s met some, maybe even not some he knew personally depending how big the program was, since.  I also think some of the L2 biotics we’ve met during the game might have been from BAaT, but I don’t know if he would have recognized them after fifteen years.

5) What do you think his commendations were before being assigned to the Normandy?
I think they were mostly “This guy does good, honest work without complaining,” “works well on a team,” “pulled through some tough missions,” and “hey, stable biotic!” type notations in his file.

6) In spite of his reservations with Shepard, do you think he's a reasonably outgoing guy with others?
I think he’s an introvert.  I suspect that he enjoys being social on his own terms.

7) What do you think happened between him and Joker after the Normandy SR-1's destruction?
I think Kaidan shut down and Joker drifted away.

8) Do you think his current assignments are coming from Admiral/Councilor Anderson?
Yes.

9) Football (Soccer) fan?
...hockey.

10) Do you think the vuvuzela would set off his migraines?
I don’t know what a vuvuzela is.

11) Do you think his next reunion with Shepard will start with tension or relief?
Internally, guarded relief that she is alive but tempered by tension that she might not be the same person (quite literally, as New!Shepard may be any number of things Not!Shepard) he knows and cares about.  Externally, there will be tension.

12) What role do you think he'll play in ME3?
At this point, I’m hopeful that he’ll be in ME3 and not just a letter.

13) Do you think he's a career Alliance military man, sticking with it until retirement?
I think that’s what he thinks.

14) Do you think he'd have whatever the future version of a sweet car is?
No.  I think public transportation is the norm.

15) Do you think he has his favorite childhood stuffed animal hidden away somewhere still?
If he had a favorite childhood stuffed animal, then I suspect it may still be around.

16) Do you think any biotic powers transfer to the children in some way? (Okay, not really Kaidan-specific, but I always imagined he'd be headed for fatherhood... oh wait, maybe I should have asked...)
Depends.  I don’t think that biotic powers are hereditary.  However, if the mother was exposed to biotic mass effect fields, I think it’s possible... if the mother was a biotic using her power frequently or if the father was using biotics all the time next to the mother, I could see it happening.  It could make sense as to why it would appear hereditary in asari.

17) Kaidan: destined for fatherhood?
I think part of him would like that.  But I don’t think it’s a make or break issue with him.  So... no, not destined.

18) Do you think that, time permitting, he still calls his mother every Sunday? (I bet he would have written to his mother after being revived from the dead.)
I think he keeps in contact.  More likely, he sends vidmail, possibly on a schedule.  ...and, yeah, he probably would have written to his mother after being revived from the dead.

19) Do you think that panel he kept working on in ME1 was the tv?
No, but I think it was the communal computer terminal... that maybe doubled as a TV, judging by the number of chairs around it.

20) Do you think Kaidan would find an evening at the opera a good time?
It depends on the opera – I think he’d be in it for the story.  If he didn’t like the story, I think he’d try to enjoy himself, but his mind would probably be elsewhere.  Hopefully, it is a space opera.

I thought that Aria was likely to be Aleena and Wrex's daughter.  A notion I should probably get out of my head before the unpleasant implications start seeping in.

ALL Samara's children are ardat-yakshi, so no... she can't be Liara's father.  Matriarch Atheta, or however you spell that bartender's name, is a different story.  She admits to having a pureblood daughter.

And I'm the author of aPoV.  Which I'm working on today, since I may not have time the rest of the weekend.

This might sound strange to some, but I'd like an NPC in ME3 who is sexist towards femsheps and makes sexual comments towards them... then if you are a femshep you of course have the option of putting him (or her!) in his/her place OR alternately if your LI is present they will speak up and defend you, bite back at the sexist bastard. Or it could be a mix of both. I love those moments, it happened in KotOR once with Carth, and also with Alistair in DAO, it just proves how protective and passionate your LI feels for you. I'd love to see Kaidan putting that guy/girl in his/her place!

Carth's was in the bar on Tattoine.  I'm not sure where Al's was.

Shepard isn't Revan or The Warden, though.  I think her particular foes are bigger and she's a bit tougher than either.  As much as it would tickle me to have either Kaidan (for Avery) or Garrus (for Meghan) do that sort of thing, I think they already did it with Harkin.  And Shep dealt with it herself.  I wanted to bring it up again on Garrus' mission.... ("And THAT's for calling me 'princess,' you ******!"), but I didn't want anyone else to deal with it.

Now, if she deals with and they comment on her dealing with it, or back her up, that's a different story.

That is true... Shepard isn't quite the delicate flower.  She has a tendency to threaten to punch peoples teeth in.  What would be interesting is if she defended her LI.
