I woke up to a cat sitting by my pillow once... never again. *Shudders* Nooo thank you, I'd take groping around over flashlight eyes anyday. Might come in handy if the power is out though...

I think most Ashley/Kaidan fans realize why they couldn't join Cerberus, or come with Shepard on the mission, but we're disappointed at how short the Horizon scene is, and how interchangeable the dialogue is.  I don't think we can even count the Horizon scene as separate scenes for Ashley or Kaidan, so you can't really get a good read on whether their personality has changed or not.

Sigh.  We'll see in ME3.

I don't really think his personality has changed all that much, he's angry sure, but who wouldn't be.  The e-mail he sends really shows he's the same Kaidan, unsure of himself but still cares, doesn't want to come right out and say it, afriad of rejection so leaves himself a way out.  *shrug*  just MO mind.

We can see that Kaiden has strong morals on the issue, considering that even shepard's influence could not get him to change his mind on cerberus. Btw I am glad cerberus no longer influences the normandy. It seems as though Jacob was supposed to fill in kaiden's spot considering he is the human male you start with in ME2.

No one has commented on us having reached PAGE 175 yet?! Kaidan hugs for all!

Anyway, about the portrayal of Kaidan in ME2, TeenZombie and BECC4 pretty have said it all. I like to think that most fans understand his reaction. Probably players new to ME2 were like, "WTF is this? Who is this dude? This Kaidan guy sucks." but who cares, they should play ME1 first anyway.

Arms, particularly forearms, can't explain it but they make me shiver, it's the man line, I love manlines.  Kaidan has lovely arms.

His reaction was pretty much in character as far as I was concerned. He is a career soldier and Alliance through and through and kind of a hot head as well (like when he called Udina a bastard for selling them out...or killing Vyrnnus). Despite the fact that he thinks with his head he seems to react emotionally more often than not in difficult situations. He exploded on Horizon but true to form once he had time to think about it he emails Shep. Why?...cause once the initial shock has worn off he's back to thinking with his head again and not so much with his original gut reaction. It was the same Kaidan and the same personality as far as I was concerned.
