Hi, all. I’ve been following this thread for some time and finally decided to show my Kaidan love... because there can never be too much. Figured it was a good time to jump in since I’d been feeling like a minority within a minority for awhile (Kaidan fan, who also enjoys the ME2 LIs…well, 2 out of 3 anyway).   But now I see I’m not as alone as I thought. Yay!
 
Speaking of those ME2 LIs, I’m currently playing ME1 again so I can have a single Shep to import. But it’s so hard to resist that yummy LT.    
 
And my apologies if this has been discussed before, but I’ve been pondering this lately. Had Shepard and Kaidan’s ranks been reversed, making her his subordinate, do you think he would’ve still given in to his feelings? I’m starting to think he wouldn’t. With the rules against fraternization already weighing on his mind as is, I think having Shepard under him (no pun intended… mmm visual… wait, where was I?) would make him ponder too much if he were taking advantage of her, being in a position of authority, even if that were clearly not the case.  This run-on sentence has been brought to you by a lack of coffee.

Welcome!  And I agree completely, actually, that a higher ranking Kaidan would have put off any relationship and, um, consummation with a lower-ranking officer until after said officer was no longer under his command.  Then again, I am also suffering from a lack of coffee today, so I'm not sure I'm making much sense either...

Hey Goofy...I can't call you that lol....how about G.G? Anyway welcome to the forums, I love it in this thread everyone is nice and we have fun and share our love for Kaidan  Now on to your question. I think Kaidan would have had a hard time with the fraternization rule if you were his subordinate. He does mention the fraternization rule and so does FemShep. I think he would have fought it every step of the way but, he would have gave in eventually. Our FemSheps are hawt and you can't resist their charms

I think he is an outgoing guy, and as many other people say, he gets along with Joker so...

I think  Kaidan blamed him, but never let Joker know,  and Joker never talked about it because he knew about Kaidan and Shepard.

I can't say anything, I mean, BW does twisted things, maybe they'll meet again and Kaidan will be the one that says hi instead.

Yup, I think he calls her when he can, not every Sunday, but he does, maybe also with his "sister", but I don't think with his father.

Welcome to the thread!! And I think Kaidan might have had a bad time trying to resist Shepard's charms, but, I'm not pretty shure if he could have been capable of breaking the stupid the fraternization rule.

Well, frankly I am not at all attracted to Thane. All my ME2 Sheps have remained faithful to Kaidan in fact.  When I was thinking of my earthborn-sole survivor-sentinel-renegade Shep going for him it was mainly in thinking about it strictly from the perspective of personality/background fit. I could see her being attracted to him as a person even if not so much physically and perhaps being willing to stretch it out into romance (if one could call it a "romance".  But then I've never been willing to bring her forward into ME2 so I guess she'll never know!
