@ Batt, I still have a renegade playthrough ahead in this one I think about saving the base, too...

It´ll be interesting anyway, how BW will use the desicion of saving or not saving the base...

Do you think it´ll be impact?

Both choices will have their own pros and cons.. My main Shep saved the base, and I guess she's a Paragade, if that means mostly paragon with some renegade.

My first playthrough was full paragon, in my second I was more paragade... Some decisions to make in renegade were in my eyes just the right once... Why waiste time, when they´re trying you to kill anyway :-)Also my femshep was more impatient that time...

because we love a man in uniform.

i noticed people were talking about shepard's allegence in ME3. to be honest i'm not totally sure where i'd want Shepard. on all the runs i've finished, i've not once kept the base so i hope we're not forced back to Cerberus again. whether Shep would want to go back to the alliance, I have a colonist/sole survivor who's a bit wary of all organisations now. a part of her would've agreed with Kaidan when he said that maybe she felt she owed cerberus because they saved her, because that was kinda the reason that she joined the alliance. she's feeling wary now because people seem to take advantage of that side of her.

I have another Shep who's spacer/war hero who would be trying to get back into the alliance again because it's been her whole life and she misses her Mum.
to get this back on topic, considering that shep is no longer alliance and therefore it's no longer against regs, what would Kaidan be encouraging shep to do?

my Shep is Earth-Born/War Hero....for her, even though she saw the Alliance as her real home, just going back like that, wouldn't be that easy. I mean, she didn't do anything wrong. She donated her whole life to the service and then got KIA and after being brought back from the dead, she didn't even get a CHANCE! She's definitely learned her lesson and now knows better than to just go back and be pushed around again. Besides,  being a Spectre with her own ship and then having her own ship with Cerberus actually showed her that she can do things that way easier than she could do with the alliance since the Alliance would put every stone in her way, unless they REALLY need her. And I'm sure she knows that. So for the Earth-Born background, i could see her being the single piece of the puzzle in between that does stuff on her own without reporting to Alliance OR cerberus unless necessary.

I don't know if he'd encourage her in any particular direction; he seems the type that he might give Shepard a list of pros and cons, but ultimately support whatever it is she wants to do, so long as she wasn't dangerous to herself or others.

... or, you know, whatever he wants to do.  Keep forgetting Shepard can be a dude.

There are always pros and cons on being Alliance in ME3 but the cons outweigh the cons I believe. If she's with Alliance, that means that she would be less 'shady' but o course there are the regs. There is also the fact that whatever she does she could never fully please the council especially that Turian jerk in case she saved the Council in ME1. She has more freedom as a Cerberus agent, but of course, there is the issue of Kaidan who will álways be an Alliance soldier.' Of course that will always make the relationship complicated and, in my opinion, more exciting as in that case there would be more tension. You can never go wrong with semi-formidden love stories.

I wonder if Kaidan will still be a romance option in ME3 for Shepards who didn't romance Kaidan in ME1. I hope he is available for Shepards who didn't romance him in ME1, because as they say, it is never too late for love. But of course, that is a cliche. A good cliche though.

@ Moon there were reports that if you didn't have an LI in ME or ME2 that they wouldn't be available for ME3. Don't know how true it is though.

Not all are available to all, females are only available to male shep and vise versa,  and I'm finding that female sheps have been shafted a bit in ME2 but I'm comparing to Kaidan... hehe I guess I'll always have grief comparing LOL I really wouldnt have minded is Zaeed was romancable, it'd fit so much better with my renegade shep's whole gig... cause right now the only half-option if you're a renegade femshep is Garrus, and that's only a half option, both Thane and Jacob a do-goodies really.

Did not like them not fixing the Hammerhead. It needs shields and the ability to save. It also badly, badly needs squad dialogue. Badly.
