It'd be really neat if they used the menu screen like that in ME3. All squadmates/notable characters that fade in and out. It was different.

there was a video on youtube about the Jack/Miranda fight. But I can't find it anymore. I think, it has been deleted. I remember that it doesn't depend exactly on HOW much paragon or renegade you have but on what decisions you have made before. The guy in the video was able to resolve the fight within the first half of the game, having his paragon bar not even at half and his renegade only the first scale thing. So I do think, the jack/miranda thing depends on something else also.

Sheploo's got some moves there. Dunno if Kaidan's "dad dance" is any better. XD

Sheploo's moves remind me of the bad dancing you can do on Omega during Samara's loyalty mission.

Good morning/afternoon!

I've had trouble with the Jack/Miranda fight myself. The first time I had an almost full paragon bar and just a few points on renegade and had no paragon/renegade options.  I went into the final battle without Miranada's loyaty but still kept everyone alive.  Went back and tried the other "regular" options with similar results -- lost either Jack or Miranda's loyalty but still saved the entire crew.

Go figure.

That's weird. I've never not gotten the Paragon or Renegade option when I've played through.

lol!  Actually I was thinking it was too bad Shep's dancing style had devolved from ME1.  Seemed to me that Shep actually had a few more moves on the Flux dance floor!

The bad dancing in the loyalty mission always looked more entertaining than the disinterested side step shuffle that you get in ME2. Obviously, dying made Shep "too cool" to dance. Posted Image

Crap, I forgot Miranda is the hardest to kill. I have done too much since then to re-do it and keep Jack's loyalty x.x

It's Tat! How are you, my friend?

I am very well! Apologizing profusely for my tardiness, but I blame my umpteenth playthrough of Dragon Age and my third or fourth attempt at ME2. Once I got through it once with the lovely Shep in my avatar, I didn't want to face Horizon again... Sigh.

Apparently, in ME2, there's a major problem (by design) that can keep you from getting the higher paragon/renegade checks.  It has something to do with not having enough points to make the checks without going full paragon or full renegade... like, you need to build up your reputation as one or another before people will take you seriously, or something.  (Miranda vs. Jack is reputedly the hardest check in the game?)

Oddly, it can be bypassable by playing an import ME1 character, so a lot of people miss it.  But playing an import ME2 character makes the checks even more difficult or something, IDK.

... and some groping.  ^_^

See, I have problems replaying Dragon Age after the travesty of what they did to my Cousland in Awakenings with those ending slides. Horizon hurts, but I can still replay ME2.

Awakening's epilogue was evil to my Dalish. The game was good... until that. Did I mention I've only played Awakening once? The meanies.

"...And The Warden mysteriously vanished years later, nobody knowing where she went or why. Some believe she is on a top secret Grey Warden mission, decided to start a life on new, unexplored lands, or simply disappeared. All know her story and adventures are not finished, but that is a story for another time..."

It could be worse.

Mass Effect could end as such.(I'll projectile vomit myself!)
Gosh, I really hope my Shepard doesn't become a wandering drunk(looking at you, Alistair) with PTSD.

well after much debating on the hair, i decided to import kyrie ("born" on the 4th of july - how funny) - and shave her. i've gotten pretty good at the gibbed save editor, so i'll be "growing" her hair back over the course of the game.

the Valkyrie says: WHAT did you do to my hair???

oddly enough, this totally jumpstarted my muse. re-did some of valhalla to reflect the change to baldness and working along. weee!

i'm now off for the "beach" (is so cold here, it's kind of a joke, but...) so happy independence day to those who celebrate and happy weekend to everyone generally. :wizard:

I hate Horizon mainly because of that goddamn Praetorian.  The reunion with Kaidan... my first time it was like "OMG it's Kaidan!  He's alright!  Thank God!  Then I got the hug and was like d'aww!  Then Shepard opened her mouth:

After my first playthrough, though, my reaction to the meeting with Kaidan was a resounding meh

By the way, I'm working on a KotOR fic right now.  A little late to the party, I know, and probably will never measure up to yours but my muse just wouldn't let it rest after I started replaying the game.
