Haha, so true, bless their little cotton socks, tell me as a man do you actually realise that most of the time we know exactly what you're doing?

You do?!

:?:unsure: *hides the cannon, the flags, and the circus clown*

Ugh, clowns, freaky!

Indeedie...*looks shiftly* Which had absolutely nothing to do with the plan...*looks shifter*...not that there was a plan to involve the non-existant clowns in.

So long as we're clear on that

One thing I find interesting about Jacob is that everyone says that he has his stuff together and is like Kaidan.

I find the opposite to be true. He joined Cerberus because he agrees with their current direction. He left the Alliance because it had changed. He'll leave Cerberus if they change directions.

Yeah, he's got convictions, but he changes sides way too much. I think he's a bit naive and confused about the general direction of his life. IMO, Jacob desperately needs a mentor.

This doesn't mean I hate the guy at all. It simply means that I find it very hard to have him as a believable romance.

Excellent points Fort...Kaidan sounds much more mature or at least that's how I took it..

He is more mature.

Agreed.

And thank god for that, because if Kaidan ever calls Shepard a prriiizzeee I'll have to toss him into the fishtank.

People might be upset by this proposition (not the Kaidan fans), but I think Kaidan would do very well for a positve, directional influence to Jacob. Or maybe Shepard can fill this position. They're both older than Jacob and have experienced more than him. Jacob is kind of the Ash of the group. He's been through a lot, but still has a bit to learn.

It's probably why Jacob and Miranda didn't work out. She's too experienced for him.

It would be fun if in ME3 your party characters could have conversations in the background like they do in Dragon Age.   It would be worth dragging Jacob around just to hear the jealous banter between Jacob and Kaidan.

I'm so glad I never saw the Jacob romance in game, my Shep would not be happy to be considered anyone's trophy.

And have it end in a scene like Miranda and Jack's. Only with Kaidan and Jacob, Kaidan would destroy the poor guy.  "These are biotics, you one trick Pull pony!" :pinched:

Cute and manipulative is still badboy, my general rule of thumb is approach all males as hostile, toy with them first, gauge their reaction and then strike ......... wait no, I mean .................*giggles whilst twirling a lock of hair around her finger looking pretty*

Oh, here I always assumed badboy was the you know, scarred and bloody after just having been in a brawl, grabs the girl and makes out while putting on his shades... B)

There are many levels of badboy, generally any male that attempts to crush your heart is my idea of a badboy but I've always found the best form of defense is offense Image IPB

About badboys:

I've fallen for two "badboys". The funny thing that I find out is that they are secretly very weak men.

I too hated the sultry dialog, they gave Female Shepard in the second game. I too found the opposite between Jacob, and Kaidan from the being. To me, it just made me feel like they were forcing the romances on us to replace the ME1 LI in this game. It was hard as hell to stay faithful to your current li IN me2.

It wouldn't have been so bad if there were only a couple of romance options for Shepard in ME2, but it seemed like everyone on the frigging ship wanted to jump into bed with her, even Garrus omg.  I felt like my brother was hitting on me with the Garrus romance option.

I would have like to been able to have more friendship conversations that didn't all resolve to romance in ME2.
