Do you think that making too many pro-Cerberus decisions would make Kaidan(or Ashley) actually work against you? Dispite the fact that most of you probably wouldn't have this problem....^^

There's the idea of Kaidan/Ashley being made a Spectre (hard to believe Ashley being a Spectre, to be honest), and hunting Shepard down due to Shepard having worked with Cerberus.

Actually Baal I think you would be surprised how many renegades we have here... Okay but I am not one so... I think it could, but It would depend of course.  I just can't see how it would work out though, because there are some of us who are paragon, how do you let Kaidan / Ash go after half the players that were pro Cerberus and then work witht the half that weren't pro Cerberus. I don't see how it can work.

I don't even see Kaidan being a Spectre! I mean, out of all people, Shep was the one, given Spectre status for a reason. First human spectre! That's still something. Neither Ash nor Kaidan can equal up to that.

And yeah, lately I have been thinking about that a lot too, that either of them will be at least investigating against Shepard

Yeah I don't see Ash as a spectre given that she's basically a grunt and has virtually no experience on non human worlds apart from what she gets with Shep as well as the whole bad family name thing. given the whole Ash/Kaidan cookie cutter approach they took in ME2 I really hope that bioware don't go that route in ME3. Kaidan is a more likely candidate for spectre status but I really hope that bioware don't go with that (sorry I'm a bit tipsy, lol). My shep was reinstated as a spectre and told that they hope her affiliation with Cerberus ends soon by the council so I would be Po'd if they turned around and sent another spectre after her, lol

Okay now I don't see this as happening, and I am just going off my game experience of course, but Shepard goes in and talks to the Council.  Shepard gets reinstated as a Spectre and the Asari Councilor even says she looks forward to a quick resolution and an end to Shepard's relationship with Cerberus.  Now maybe Half the people didn't blow up the base or tell TIM where to go, But I don't see the Council having her hunted down.  Recalling her maybe, but not hunting her down.

Why not?

Shepard would still be the first human Spectre.  And Ashley and Kaidan wouldn't necessarily have to equal up - consider the difference between Saren and Nihlus.  They could still be Spectres in their own right without stealing Shepard's special place in history (or badassery).

... that is, considering whether Spectres even exist in the "Dead Council By Default" storyline anymore.  <_<

maybe the data you got from the missing cerberus agent assignment will come in to the game here. I mean, those who haven't done the assignment yet, will get the chance to do it. those who have done it in ME2 already, well there it depends on the decision they made. if they have given the data to the alliance or kept them to themselves, then this should be an option to help you get back on good terms with the alliance. if you gave them to cerberus....well yeah....idk.

i really don't see how all this would work out.

If anyone is eligible for spectre status out of the squadmates I'd say it's Garrus and Samara. Garrus because he was once considered for spectre status along with many other Turians in the military. Samara because of her many years of experience working in the Justicar order. Though working as an agent not bounded by laws and regulations may prove difficult for her at first.

Perhaps Mordin also considering his work in the STG, which is said to be similar to the Spectres.

Speaking of which, I'd really like to meet OTHER spectres in ME3. The only one I know of apart from Shepard is Saren Arterius.

huh, weird! forum monster ate half of my post :blink:
I had typed way more than that! :blink::blink:
Basically, I said that Shep has that leadership aura no one else has and that's the reason why people follow him/her. And neither Kaidan nor Ash can equal up to that.
So my post got mixed up by whatever forces rule this forum software

I half expected Garrus to be a spectre in ME2. He told my Shep that he was going to apply for spectre in ME1 so I am peeved that he just abandoned those plans because she died.



Being a spectre is what make shep stand out amongst the other humans and make her/him special so I really don't want to see either Kaidan or Ash as spectres, especially as Kaidan now outranks Shep in the Alliance as well.
