 So I really don't think that Kaidan was assigned to Spectre, but I just heard something on the Citadel that makes me wonder.  On one of Emily Wong's news stories, she says something about the Council denying claims that they had assigned a Spectre to investigate Horizon.

It's certainly intriguing...If it is Kaidan and the Spectre rumour isn't about Shep, I wonder what the cover story would be, you'd think they might come up with something a little more creative than "building AA towers".

I really do love Garrus as a character and his voice is lovely...but he's really my Shepard's buddy. Which is why I was so annoyed his dialogue was cut in half if you didn't romance him.

I would have loved for Garrus to really be portrayed as Shep's confidant in ME2.  It made no sense to me why my FemShep would have mission debriefings and talk strategy with Miranda, Jacob and Mordin, but not Garrus.

That is odd...doesn't she tell Tali on one option she needs people around her she can trust and yet neither Garrus nor Tali are in any of the cut scenes except at the end where Garrus doesn't want Miranda leading the squad. I think that putting Jacob and Miranda up front as her confidants was a bit of a stretch.

If there is marriage at the end of ME, which I rather doubt, I really don't want to see it. I think that would have worked okay in DA (big fancy state wedding for Alistair and Cousland; I was actually surprised that didn't happen, with the comment the guards make on the Cathedral in Denerim), but Sheps are so different, it'd be nigh on impossible to do a scene that would make everyone mostly happy.
