I don't understand why it has to be like this, though. The only thing I can come up with is that they wanted to "force" us to end our relationship with our ME1 LI by giving us crappy cameos ans a ridiculous "looks at picture" scene - that's imo, of course.

Bigger boobs and Tali is the reason I see for cheating most time.

Well they did say that they expected most players to cheat because the ME2 romances were so compelling or some such nonsense - if you find cheese and sleaze compelling that is. At least the people that romanced Liara look like they might get some dlc eventually. I'm not holding my breath for any Kaidan (or Ash for the Ash lovers) dlc. Thank goodness we have so many prolific fanfic writers to keep us going, as well as all the artists, lol.

Something we've been curious about, but keep forgetting to ask...

Do you all think that Kaidan's higher biotic metabolism will burn him out faster or by virtue of being a biotic does that mean he might have a longer lifespan than normal?

(Since I can't figure the Asari biotic mysticism magic the Force out, it seems to me that it could go either way or not at all.)

well, since the picture scene is very far at the end, it was where you had already decided if to cheat or not. So tha makes no sense. besides, the romance thing was for the player only, not for the character, since Shepard wouldn't know that Ash/Liara/Kaidan would be somewhere looking up at the stars the exact same moment Shep looks at the picture. That would of been just a sweet romantic treat for us players, regardless of Shep's toughness.

Wonder where's they'll be taking the whole Kaidan/Shepard romance with the 'big role' Kaidan will have.

The staggering amount of LIs they have now will have consequences, question is how bad will it be? With romance being such a small part of the game, and having so many possible LIs now...will the romance between Kaidan and Shepard suffer because of it? Whatever happens, I do hope they learned something from ME2. Then again there are tons of people who adore the ME2 romances. Flip of a coin really.

Now gimme ME3 so I can get some bloody closure

Of course from Shepard's standpoint it wouldn't make sense. But I meant the whole picture they are trying to sell of Shepard. To the end of my first pt I was hoping for some real reunion scene with Liara. Like after the suicide mission or right before and all I got was the picture scene. I wouldn't be surprised if many players cheated on their LI in the 2nd pt, not because they wanted to try something different, but because they didn't get what they wanted or were hoping for. That was what I was getting at :-)

Ravenous clothing removal could be a real challenge for graphic artists and animators, thou in Heavy Rain it looked quite good (it wasn't "ravenous" by the way, especially if you failed at undressing, lol). My wishfull thinking is to have a different scene for Fshep and Mshep, because just swapping places is... Well, it's disturbing when I think "there could be Sheploo on Kaidan's place now" O_o

I wonder how far the scenario could move not to rise censorship/media fuss.

It doesn't matter that she was with Kaidan to me
She has the same exact scene with Ash, sucks you can't get her out in time. I'd rather not watch someone melt in front of me.

@Col- I like it for the fact Kaidan seemed to be more adaptable. He wasn't racist against Aliens, he was level headed about his talks and stuff, but another thing. Ash was too adamant about religion for me and Liara was too meek ( though now she's the godfather of the asari). Plus I think the gave Kaidan enough background with revealing too much to interests the player. Whereas for Ash you basically get her life story

I do think Kaidan's is the best romance.  It happens gradually and stems from mutual respect,  with no cheese or sleaze anywhere to be found.  thats about as objective as I can be when it comes to Kaidan, lol.

even on my second PT I will remain faithful to Kaidan. I just created a new single character for Thane so that doesn't count as cheating. Not because I felt bad due to Horizon but because Thane is so damn AMAZING! ^.^

Subjectively speaking...

With Ash, my Shepard found a protege.  With Liara, she found a school-girl with a crush.  With Kaidan, she found an equal.

Objectively speaking, I couldn't say.  They're all good.

All my sheps remained faithful. I really did try to romance someone else but just felt too guilty, lol. Seeing Kaidan's pic face down on the desk had me reloading or alternatively deleting the entire playthrough. I like Thane and he's usually in my squad for the final battle but I don't feel attracted to him in the slightest. His memory thing and his looks really creep me out, lol

I don't like that Lilith gets smoothied. In my case she was the only one. It made me feel bad because I knew her from the scene with Kaidan- on the other hand my Shepard only felt bad that a colonist died. Of course if she knew that Lilith knew Kaidan...



Did you guys know tha Lilith is the name of one of Satan's demon sucubus'..... Just saying...
