I have a question - We all know that the email from Kaidan after Horizon was terrible and wonderful, right? Terrible cos we can't reply but wonderful cos he clearly still loves Shep. Do you think it would have been better if they had a Kaidan montage and Sbarge 'reading', the mail like this.....................

Views? I personally would have enjoyed a montage and voice over especially if we had the ability to view it again, it would feel more comforting, Shep could read the mail before Omega 4 for example.

Kaidan's message was done well. To hear Sbarge read it would have been a nice touch, but I can hear Kaidan's voice reading it in my head pretty well. It is so in character. I just love how you get such a gammet of his feelings in that one letter. The "it meant everything to me" gets me every time, 'cause although you know he cares for Shepard, he never really comes out and says it except on Horizon. I never liked how he
had to throw in "but this can't change anything" the night before Ilos--it made it sound like "well, we can hook up tonight, but that's all it is." That one phrase in the message confirms that it meant more to him than he let on.
I love how the conflict within his heart is palpable in that message. I think it also adds to the picture of how deep a person he is.
I just wish that she could reply? What is wrong with Shepard? I guess she's just different from me--harder. She should have savored a little more snuggle time with Kaidan rather than getting dressed right away. Kaidan gives her that glowing intro when he sees her on Horizon and all she can say is "How've ya been?" Ugh! What? She couldn't just tell him that she was happy to see him and relieved that he was safe? Perhaps he wouldn't have turned to cold and angry so quickly. He tells her that he loved her and she says...nothing. Then he sends this hurt, confused message that spills everything that he is thinking and feeling (quite something for such a reserved guy) and she again says...nothing.

Frak yeah. My Shep is a paragon and has tried to play nice with that woman. But there's a line, and smearing Kaidan would definitely cross it. Perhaps not physical voilence, but Kimbri would fix her good.
