That link just tells me to sign up for the website

I think that is because it is a 'rated' pic. "Partial nudity"?
Oh right, already said.

It is a nice pic :)

One of the (many) things that I've always found hot about Carth and Kaidan is that they are older. They are strong, virile men in their 30's--not some teen or guy barely out of his teens like in the Final Fantsy series.

yeah, action-wise, definitely. voice-wise, definitely. looks-wise, oh so not! they looked like guys of their age. still, oded has too many wrinkles, not just a few.

okay, maybe i should just shut up now. I'm turning 32 this year and people still tell me I look like 24. so what do I know..... :bandit:

I'm 36 and look even younger than that (my husband is 6 years younger and looks older than my actual age), people have guessed everything from 21 to 26.   Age is difficult to tell nowadays.  Plus, whoever they got would have to pull off the more weathered look in ME2 (assuming they didn't Virmire him).

I agree about determining age being difficult at times.  I'm going to be 40 in September and I still get carded occasionally.  My husband whose a few years younger than I am had people telling him he looked in his mid 30s at one of his first jobs out of college.

Okay here's try two for the BSG shot:  http://hphotos-snc3....983_34419_n.jpg

I love conventions, too.  Rather than autographs, my hubby and I decided to collect photos in our Blues with BSG cast members.  We're going to Chicago next month to get the "Final Five"--Michael Trucco Posted Image

Look at you. Awesome picture. And he looks so Kaidan-ish in that one.
lucky you. We don't have many conventions over here and I never go to FedCon. Too big, too expensive. I'm a picture person as well, rather pictures than autographs. Or better, autograph on photo-ops. Those are the best. At the convention with Aaron I won Season 1 and 2.1 BSG on DVD. Of course got both boxes signed by him, Nicky and gah I'm trying to remember who else was there. Great moment for me lol. We used to have this small convention here that we went to every year. Nothing like partying it up with the guests *giggles*

Back on topic.....Kaidan and Shep who would sleep on which side of the bed?

Thanks  Posted Image  Where is "over here"?

You see Kaidan on stage-left of the bed...afterward.  So I would assume that would be his natural tendancy.  However, my Shep wouldn't care.  Just as long as he 's in it.  Posted Image

The Owner's Manual is hilarious

Problem: My KAIDAN is whining about a headache. How do I get it to stop?
Solution: First, conjure up an iota of sympathy. Second, temporarily retire the unit to a dark, quiet place. Third, offer your KAIDAN an ice pack. Fourth, wait for your KAIDAN to recover. Should the headache return, repeat steps two through four as necessary.

Hmmm...reminds me of some of the "fanfic" that my mind makes up.  I know some neck/shoulder/upper back massage techniques that actually do seen to help with headaches.  So I figured that my Kimbri Shepard had learned them along the way.  That first time that Kaidan complains of a migraine she takes him to her cabin, gets his shirt off (you know, to more easily get to the muscles) and releases all the tension from the muscles in his upper body until he falls asleep on her bunk (since sleep is the best antidote for migraines).  She can't help but watch him in love and fascination as he sleeps peacefully.

Well, the startled looks I get when I tell people my actual age are also funny as hell.

There are a couple of lines I wanted to put in (because it was so funny and suggestive) but it didn't fit with the rest... I might make a new one in the future.. once I sort out all 'em audio files

Where is he looking?

he's blinking a little because she just kneed him in his manparts ^^ see it now?

At first, I thought it was a puppy face but now I think it's because he'd been kneed in his tenderbasket.

LOL!  I will never be able to watch that scene with a straight face again.  Although, I'd rather she kick a certain someone who likes to strut around in creaky leather and wears a cod piece in the manbasket.

And sorry if I'm terribly late, but I just read this by Jaer:"A twelve step program?" He grinned at her. "What…some sort of Kaidan
Alenko Support Thread?"

And giggled all over myself.

It's great that the thread has so many people and moves so fast, even though I don't get the chance to post much lately.  Just assume I am lurking and still love and appreciate Kaidan.  And the fanart and fanfiction are bonuses too!  Posted Image

Most interestingly this thread seems almost always nice. Something which sadly can't be said about the whole forum.
