Kaidan: Okay, scratch that, it's that my girlfriend, the one I loved with all my heart and thought was dead has come back and... well, this is embarassing, but as long as there's a chance in hell that we could be together, I'm going to have to figure that out first.
Citadel Doctor:
Kaidan: Good bye.
Citadel Doctor:

BRILLIANT!  I love it.

re Alistair - I just think that my warden is only supposed to be fairly young and inexperienced as well so Alistair suits her perfectly. I find Zev off putting as a LI - he's too jaded and too much of a braggart about his prowess (which sets off alarm bells in my head, lol).

I did at first, too.  To smarmy.  Actually, that's what I called Zev for a quite a while--"Smarmy Elf."
But I created a character my 3rd time through for him.  And yeah, he's a bit of a braggart.  But when he actually falls in love, he's rather cute.  His eyes get all wide and open (as opposed to that half-lidded expression he usually wears) and he just looks so vulnerable.  And your elf can actually get engaged to him--which is more than I can say for Alistair.  Posted Image

@ sapphy: i too, do not like seeing lilith get smoothied. nobody deserved that. i figure kyrie had nightmares of it because heck, *I* had a nightmare of it. but i am prone to nightmares after seeing zombie vids and such. don't do so well with horror movies. crazy, i know.

i'm also disturbed by the podding of lilith.  i prefer to not think about it.  as far as the citadel doctor goes, i feel bad for her.  going out with someone that lost their lover can't be easy.

Morning, people.

Does anyone know if BioWare can track WHO you cheated on your ME1 love interest with (if you did)? I hope that data is for statistical/entertainment purposes only (they plan to make the data public and I feel bad enough doing it just for the achievement). Had I known that they would know... I wouldn't have done it. At all.

I can't imagine that the data would make them chuck the ME1 LI all together because the data could indicate that the ME2 romances were "compelling"... no matter how many people cheated, they'd ****** a lot of people off... but I can't help but be scared by the mere suggestion of that outcome.

I just hope my faithful Shep isn't going to suffer because of what another did.  I mean, that's the beauty of multiple saves.  And if they want their game to retain its replay value, they won't punish us for exploring other options.

I agree that what happens in ME3 will come from save files, not from achievements.
I'm sure that Bioware is aware (and intends) that people will play the game several times with different permutations so that they can have different experiences in the game.  I don't think that cheating with one character will fubar the chances of a faithful Shepard with Kaidan.

I had a maleShep that romanced Liara and in ME2 he had the quickie with Jack but that still leaves Liara's pic up on the desk. I wonder if that will still count as cheating though in BioWare's eyes.

That's what I figured, but it's reassuring to see that other people think so too. I never trust my own instinct, haha. :D

Yeah, because think about it.... just because Legion got killed in one of my playthroughs, that doesn't mean he'll be gone in ME3 regardless of my save file.

It threw me off though when Casey Hudson said they would track to see who cheated through achievements. I was like uh, just because I have the achievement doesn't mean I cheated on anyone.

I agree with you about the doctor. I can't imagine that the date thing they went on was a whole lot of fun... on some level he probably felt bad about it. Drinks with someone with a dead girlfriend can be awkward.

And am I the only one who thinks that Lilith wasn't interested in Kaidan in a romantic way? To me that brief conversation was business only...

I find his treatment of the data... tacky. Highly tacky.

after two years of mourning shepard, kaidan's friends convince him to go out for drinks.  i bet it was a real downer of an evening.  actually sage did a great job of writing about that awkwardness in valhalla.

with lilith i didn't get any romantic intentions just a friendly stroll.  although maybe she was checking him out.  come on, who wouldn't.

Harmless window shopping... ;)it doesn't matter anyway, whether or not we want her to be liquified... she got liquified.

When I first saw that cutscene with Kaidan and Lillith walking I was really worried they would show them kiss or something to indicate he had moved on and was in a new relationship. Soooo glad that wasn't the case. As bad as Horizon made me feel they could've made it sooo much worse.

Kaidan: What the hell are those!?

Jenkins: Gas bags. Don't worry, they're harmless!

*Pops one*

Kaidan: Damn!

^One of my more favorite lines. XD

As I watched that cutscene, a famous Star Wars quote went through my head:  "I've got a bad feeling about this."

But she'd have to be digging Ash too, to make it even. Copy and paste roles!

The whole cookie cutter thing made me wonder if their budget was running out when they made that part... but how expensive are a few different lines of dialogue, anyway? As far as I know, the only difference is that Ashley calls you a God instead of a legend...

completely.

of course, i'm sure they wrote lilith as a woman so that ash would not be with some guy on horizons, but then just figured switching it over would be no biggie

Huh? Huh? :P:wub: With brown contacts, though............

:wub::wub::wub::wub::wub:
so much a Kaidan! Perfect!

And even with one year closer to Oded, Oded just looks old! He can't pull off Kaidan and expect people to believe he is him. Don't get me wrong, I adore Oded, great actor, looking amazing and all, still, looks-wise....no Kaidan resemblance at all. Tooo many wrinkles.

But this gorgeous sweetheart.....:wub::wub: *points at Jens picture* nawwwww, we should write him to take acting classes

He is a bit gorgeous, isn't he................ *fans self and swoons a bit*

In ME3 I think most people pretty much assumed that both of them will be the stepping stone to the Alliance. Even if they're not squadmates(dunno why, that'd seem to defeat the purpose) I'd be sorely disappointed if they had the /same/ exact dialogue. Horizon did suck, but from a point of view it did make sense. What much else is there to say when Shep asks how ya been doin, dawg?
