Kaidan is aware he already did something "wrong" and doesn't want any trouble for Shepard, for himself, anyone.
Also, I think he doesn't want another Virmire to happen. Threat of Saren and the Reapers is equally if not more important than his feelings to another person. Wanting to protect someone you love gives strenght, but it's your greater weakness at the same time.

Ah.  Okay.  He so he didn't want it to be obvious enough to come to the attention of command and cause him to be reassigned?

I was kinda surprised in ME2 when his message made it obvious that they only had that one night.  If kinda figured that they would have had some downtime after the Citadel battle where they would have had some alone time.

And you have a Queen also.  Cool.

I think I would be okay either way.  I'd like to see my wardens continued.  But I'd also be okay if they skipped ahead and the story was about fighting Morrigan's kid or something like that--hopefully they would ask a the beginning some choices to correspond to your particular outcomes DA so it there would be continuity.

Back on track...I just think Kaidan looks more Dapper in his new armor and they way his hair is in ME2.

Maybe because he really makes us think he would manage it. Thou he says this himself: It's hard to separate it from duty. Aaand:
Sh: - I'll be tracking your next shore leave, mister
K: - I hoped we could spend that shore leave together. (not exact words but the same meaning)

On the other hand, he wasn't opposing the locker scene...

I really believe the "pre-Ilos night" hever happened again. There wasn't much time - Citadel was a mess, Alliance surely wanted answers, the geth were still somewhere. Maybe they even haven't any R&R in the meantime. This is something we will never know probably.

I originally thought the locker scene was an accident.  But after watching a time or two, it seems like he intentionally pulled her up so she'd be close.

I love that response of his when he states that he was hoping they would be together on break.  The alternate dialogue in that scene is also good when he tells her that the galaxy would have to be on its own without them one of these days...or nights.  mmm...

I haven't yet actually romanaced Zevran, though I've seen the romance from start to finish on a friend's game.  But I exploited a bug where Moira ended the game with both in love with her.  (The result is The Rescue in my sig.)


Emma Cousland ended up just friendzoned by Zevran, so I know the difference in dialogue.

I love the locker scene more than the actual pre-Ilos night, myself. The near kiss is so... so... GAH!! That's how I describe it. I was leaning close to the screen, eyes wide, watching, waiting... and then Joker interrupted, and I lurched back in my chair, crying "GAH JOKERRRRRRRR!! YOU'RE DEAD!!!!" *ahem*

As far as DAO 2 being announced I'm kind of like bleh....The ending sucked and it sucked even worse on Awakenings so I'm on the fence on whether or not I'll be purchasing it.

Okay, so how do you exploit that bug?  I'd love to have a character that has both men!
Alistair and Zev are very different in style of relationship--it depends on my mood which I like better.  However, Alistair is king, so...
Zev's quite adorable when he finally falls in love and is all vulnerable, though. 

Kaidan's hair looks different to me.  More swept back in ME1 but more swept back with a little height to it in ME2?  Like its swept back and over rather than straight back?  It could just be my perception.  And in 1 it depends on if its in convo with him or out on duty.  His hair changes slightly (IMO).

And yeah.  Awakenings was a little lack luster.  I did like Alistair's cameo, though, and called his Queen a "goddess"
I really wish that Kaidan used "goddess" on Horizon rather than "Legend."  I liked Ash calling her Shep a god.

Aww, that's sweet of Al. I'm SO close to finishing my very first Human Noble playthrough; my girl is going to be queen! WHOO!!

(And my female Dalish is sitting off in a corner, sobbing with heartbreak because I didn't expect Al to dump her. Poor girl.)

To hear Kaidan call Shep a goddess would have been amazing.
