Yeah.  I did it in my second playthrough.  I didn't keep it, though.

Gosh!  Not having Kaidan in my squad and hearing him over the radio, not knowing how he's doing about sent my Kimbri into a panic attack.  I think she was too distracted to think cooly.  (I get into my roleplay ).
It was good to see Ash get a heroic sendout.  But I LIKE hoisting Kaidan over my shoulder and carrying him back. 

Did anyone else experience anxiety sending Kaidan with the other team?  Or was I just odd? 

I had the anxiety, too. And if the comm cut out from enemy fire, I freaked. "KAIDAN ARE YOU OKAY?!?!"

I love hoising him, too. It's so... yummeh. Not to mention he's obviously been shot, so then that can make for a fic-able scene in medbay later.

...okay, maybe I won't go AFK. Too much fun here!

I recommend reading Sia's A Paragon of Virtue. There's an awesome flashback from Kaidan about Virmire.

I think nicknames are a mutual thing between people. I don't see him calling Shepard anything other than Shepard, her first name, or ma'am (because he can her that all day long). As such, I don't see Shepard using anything other than similar forms of address. Hence the, marine, soldier, as parts of what she calls him.

I'm new...well not new, I mean I've been playing Bioware since KotOR on the original xbox but I've just realized they had a site for people and forums. I know I'm dreadfully late, but I'm going with the better late than never on this.

It's really nice to find other people that liked Kaidan and Ashley here (mostly Kaidan). I don't really know a lot of girls that play this game or people who really liked the ME1 LIs in general.

So, um...hello! It's good to (hopefully) be apart of the community. You guys seem like really funny and cool peoples.

No hiding.  Welcome to the craziness!  Here we have fanfic, fanart, Shenko playlists, and hold long intellectual discussions on non-linear dynamics, the virtues of beeing faithful to your ME 1 LI, and how round and firm Kaidan's butt is.  I think we have illustrations somwhere...*shuffles papers*

Here let me issue you your standard pitch fork and torch.  We like to keep those stockpiled just in case we have to march on Canada because BioWare turns Kaidan into another cameo.  Don't worry about lighter fluid or matches.  I have several jerry cans full and some strike anywheres.

OH, and here's your waders in case you decide to descend to the gutter level of the forum.  If you haven't discovered it yet, you soon will. 

Anyhow, welcome (unless you're a vampire) and *hugs*

Goofygoof put my own thoughts into words.  I have a loyal Kaidan playthrough, but I do admit Garrus stole one of my Shepards from him.

I do like Kaidan, he's a stand up guy and just right for my vanguard.  My husband even likes Kaidan!  I had to laugh because when my husband encountered Kaidan on Horizon he was like, 'Yeah, my A-team is back, I got the hook up!' and he looked at me afterwards and said tearfully, 'Kaidan broke up with me!'.

Mmmm...but my Kimbri gives the most amazing neck and shoulder massages.  It should take that migraine right away.
