Wow internet at work doesn't like Kaidan bombs it seems.

@TZ, I have to say thank you for your post on Marketing. Your posts were well worded and held valid points I really agree with. A shame the post got locked because of the bickering, especially since a lot of the bickering had nothing to do with your post at all.
Seems a lot of people didn't get what you were trying to say.

If I hadn't been such a rabid Bioware fangirl since the first Baldur's Gate, I would never have known Mass Effect had a female character. I hated how little marketing Kaidan got and when people did meet him ingame, he was laughed at and forums flooded with the "Gawd, whiny Carth" posts.
I would have loved to have seen information about Kaidan like Ashley got with her detailed ME1 'file' on the original ME website. I actually waited for his and was really looking forward to seeing a little animated figure of him as well. One we could have clicked on to hear him say a few lines, like Ash's.

Same for ME2, there was no femshep at all cept for the 4 screenshots they tossed into their gallery without a word at release or very, very shortly prior to release. Heck I was thrilled there was a section including Kaidan this time shortly before release. I just really hope they include female characters and maybe their LIs in future promotions. DA2 or ME3. I would love to see a glimpse of Kaidan in gamefootage for ME3, alongside femshep...I mean....I would squeeeee with delight.

Here's to hoping we get some femshep and Kaidan love for ME3, doesn't have to be on a Sheploo advertisement scale...but some screentime in gameplay trailers, screenshots or character information on the site would be great. Would suck if we get nothing again. (not counting the information they tossed on the site almost on release day, after we waited two years )

The moment they put Kaidan's information on the ME2 site, I was one happy fangirl. Little loving he got, but even that was more than Femshep got...which is sad, for Jen Hale especially.

@pets: no, no cats, dogs or other stuff except the hamster tank. I don't want another Kudryavka (Laika) to happen. LAWL.

@nicknames: Sometimes Shep's using the "mister" word, I guess she would call him that from time to time. But no specified nickname.

@ME2 romances - I don't want to discuss that anymore. Dominica hasn't romanced anyone, saved Ash and trying to build a relationship with Garrus. I'm not making more than two careers. Period. Hell, I even made her face so similar to mine, that I can't stand watching her sometimes. I've prettied her up a bit lately (cuz I don't like my enormous cheeks and grandma's nose), but still.

As much as I love Kaidan, I have to agree with Jho that the internet on my phone (the only way I can check from work most days if I get a chance) does not like the Kaidan-pic bombs.

Bet the animators are cursing the whole Flycam concept now...no more hiding, we see every little detail now! muahaha...but you made me lol at work, you're right. I prefer seeing the scene ingame without pausing or flycam, because in all honesty...it isn't animated that well if you freeze frame it. But flowing and playing the way it should, it's yummy.

A complete well animated motion capture like in the 3D movies is a lot of work and money. I understand that and I'm not ranting about any clipping. Just noticing.

Not ruining anything for me, just had to chuckle. Should I have a go at ME again, I'll flycam that scene too just for the hell of it lol But yeah, no movie budgets here I bet

I think a few awkward shots in exchange for a few awesome shots is a good trade.  It's not like you'll see something that completely ruins the game for you as you play it through normally "as it's meant to be seen".  Besides, games glitch all the time and get awkward without changing the camera around.
