I wasn't sure what to think of it when I first read the info - it sounded like Fable III.
The idea of it feels very different too, but that's not a bad thing per se. Some people are just taking it over the top.
Most threads I've seen are people begging for a female Hawke on the cover or some sort of ad that shows a female.
Or saying how they're never buying a BioWare game again because DA2 already sucks, apparently.

Because we're living in a World of Whine, that's why.Batteries wrote...

Oh! And if anyone has a screen cap (or can make one) of Kaidan from the pre-Ilos night--after Shep shimmies up him and before he flips her over, I would appreciate it. I just love the look of adoration he has at that moment.
...?
Not quite, maybe. :innocent:
That's about the right moment, thanks.
Thanks for finding that for me
Yeah. I do, too. He can say anything...like I said earlier, even when he's angry his voice gets all gowl-y and he's...mmmKitteh:
Does anyone remember on Therum when Kaidan says something along the lines of, "The tiles in those holes remind me of a bathroom floor." ?
I miss him saying cute and random things like that.
I'm sure the thrid game will have a third set of romance options. Some people are just fickle and need new romance options every game. *shrugs*Fire Eye:
... I wonder, depending on how they're planning on "continuing the romance arc," if we'll get a Paramour achievement in ME3.
Somehow, I doubt we'll get a "stayed faithful" achievement, though.

Does anyone have a screen shot of Kaidan's face after Shepard climbs up him and before he rolls her over? I just love that look of love and adoration on his face.
Animators slacked at their job again or he bites his upper lip. Looks funny anyways. I don't have better shots atm. Remember that the perspective can deform both models here.
Dont'cha just want to smooch that forehead?
*squeeks and runs around the room*
That's it! *does happy dance*
Three awesome pics of that moment
And its not even my birthday!
Thanks AkodoRyu and Fire Eye!
EDIT: And yes. I do think its odd how his bottom lip sticks out a little in that first pic. I noticed that about him on the Xbox verion, also.
And his neckline in the second shot--I"m sure that's why all the characters in Dragon Age wear necklaces, even during sex.

@Akodo; yeah Flycam is great, most of the time:

A second before I had a screen of strangely smiled Ashley.

Alistair is a great character, I get the disappointment. I guess this time I got lucky: I already knew that would be the case before DA:O even hit the markets. And actually I'm quite happy with it, since I really don't know what they can add to the Warden story.Xasen wrote...
Eh...I was excited for a minute, until I saw the "new character" bit. I'm guessing that means no Alistair...which is what I'm really disappointed about
Edit: hm where is the trio pic when you need it

"Ah, Shepard.. I've never done this before..." came to my mind when I saw that.
But what do you all think?
Kaidan said he and Rhana never...
He said that he doesn't do that sort of thing--not lightly anyways
Its kinda difficult to believe about a 32 (and then 35) year old man, but...
Is it possible that our hero might have been...

Heh. Both games are worthy of replaying! Difference between DA and ME is that they planned ME a trilogy from start.Xasen wrote...
@Tigrina Dragon Age was my first Bioware game, I got it and planned my character and decided that I was going to romance Leliana... then I met Alistair. Just gotta get it out of my system I suppose. Can still fawn over Kaidan
I sincerely hope the ME1 LI's get their screentime in 3.
/wonders how the devs would react to a horde of female protesters with pitchforks

Yeah, you seem to be pretty chill here. I'm trying not to get myself accosted by talk of the new announcement (I don't really care about DA anyway). But I can always throw in my support for the Kaidster!
