Lots of DA fans over here.  Plenty of room for one more.

Men make the games (majority), male players are in the majority.  Unfortunately they get the attention.  Hopefully it will change.  But it will take time.  Heck.  Look at women's sufference

And the most vocal, obnoxious squeeky wheel gets the cheese.  Someone here stated that David Gaider won't use Sbarge as LI for DA because of the complaints from that segment.  But look at this forum.  Which is the most popular/active thread?  Oh, that's right--Kaidan's.  But we don't cause trouble.  So what we want gets ignored.   (where'e the freaking angry face?)

I gotta go let my the red in my hair cool down for a moment...

@Jade: Eeek, don't get mad at Gaider for my comment! It was more a "BioWare doesn't want to do the same thing over and over again" rather than a "we're listening to whiny fanboys who don't like Carth" decision. (And the VA aren't completely up to him... he's the Lead Writer, not in charge of everything.)



However, I do completely agree with the basic complaint... I'm mostly optimistic that they have something positive in the works for ME3 though. Even if we're not an obnoxious/scary minority, we're still here, and they don't usually dump characters half-way through a story.

@ teen: i think you're TOTALLY on for that. the girl gamers do get overlooked, which is a total bummer.

in spite of that, i actually have high hopes for DA2. i personally think the origins thing, while a cool idea, actually derailed the narrative arc. i can get really soapboxy about why, but i do. i think having the PC be well-defined like Shepard is makes for a better narrative from a story point of view. this is my humble opinion. so i am hoping this will be the case with hawke. but again, i'm the pollyanna, i know.

this guy's hair rocks. i know is way too complicated a texture model, but i will personally assume that kaidan's hair REALLY looks like this, only he gels it back to be okay with the regs. when the uniforms come off though... 

and sorta off topic, but i just made the strangest realization: kyrie vs. the original avenger:





kyrie looks like emma peel! this was totally unintentional.  i tried to make kyrie look a little like me, but my mom looks like diana rigg, so...  okay, off topic i know, but i thought it was cool and had to share.

(And Shenzi and I have the same weird mind-link with our post-ME2 a/u reconciliation stories. It's slightly creepy, in an awesome sort of way. I tend to sorta squint sideways when I read her updates, though... 'i am not stealing her ideas this time, I'm not! oh, dang, that's what I was going to write!')

jilly and shenzi, i have an affinity for well-written alenko and shepard cuteness.  ella/kaidan and kate/kaidan have that in spades.  Lost for Words and Just Because Horizon Was That Bloody Awful are definite must reads.
