I've heard Keith David's voice in quite a few things. Last thing was some sort of documentary about comic books.
One of my favorite movies is Requiem for a Dream. Keith David plays a very interesting character in it to say the least if you have never seen the movie. It would definitely make you look at Captain Anderson twice if he had anything in common with that character.

And yes, I'd happily listen to Sbarge read the phone book. He should do audio books. I'd buy them, even if I didn't want to read the book before hand.
And I missed the Mentalist episode with him in it... will have to try and catch it at some point.

yay, a Sbarge voice conversation! As previously mentioned, I saw him in a CSI repeat the other day. So disconcerting, that amazing voice coming from a total jack@ss character. *laughs* I was sitting there w/part of my brain going "awww, keep talking" and the other part going "ew! smack him upside the head and lock him up forever!"
And yes, if you play an ME2 game after not recruiting Garrus in 1, you have no response to the 'reach/flexibility' conversation besides "bye". I'm finishing up an ME1 game where I never recruited Wrex to see how that varies in 2 as well. Someday, eventually. I haven't been playing much, so it'll take awhile.
It's a shame that more studios don't make use of that amazing voice of his. Do they not realize the kind of ratings they would get?
I'd tune in to listen to him read the phonebook.
And I completely agree with you there.
I did watch a snippet or two of his acting in shows. I also found it disconcerting. I'm so used to that voice coming from someone tall dark and handsome. Instead, its coming from someone tall (?). Perhaps I should just listen to the clips. LOL.
@jilly: Oooh. Audiobooks. Yeah. I don't care if it was on politics (I HATE politics). I'd listen. I'd probably be good for those nights I have trouble sleeping. The content would bore me to sleep and the voice would lull me into some good dreams, I'd bet.
I need to play Republic Commando at some point (although I don't like shooter games) so that I can listen to him be Scorch.

I would rate Republic Commando as a fairly good shooter as shooters go. Not my favorite; that honor goes to Perfect Dark, closely followed by Jedi Knight and Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast. But it's close behind them. I may have to replay it now just to hear Sbarge as Scorch... honestly, in my first runthrough of the game I never even noticed that connection, not sure why.
Re: Audiobooks I'm pretty sure Sbarge has done at least 1 audiobook because I seem to remember an audio file floating around somewhere that had an imagined conversation between Carth and Revan and I think some of the lines in there were from an audiobook or something that Sbarge did.

I am embarrassed to admit it being a HUGE Star Wars fan (I belong to Rebel Legion and 501st--meaning that when LucasFilms needs costumed characters for events, they call our groups) and I've never played the game and know shamefully little about the Rep. Commandos.Joisan wrote...

But from the little that I gathered of the character, Scorch is a bit of a jokester/lighthearted (expect for when a certain event happens). Is that right?

Yep, that's one of themI'll admit, as much as I love Kaidan and his romance as it is written (well, up until Horizon anyway...) I would love to see a little more banter between him and Shepard now that they're on more of an equal footing and they've gotten past that awkward first stage. Well, the banter would have to come after they sort out all the issues stupid Bioware left them with <_<

Anyway when I search on Sbarge as narrator I get four hits - all dramatizations so other actors are on them too.
Cakewalk
Lucy
Incident at Vichy
The Heidi Chronicles
no books with only him... rats...
