Yep, the M-29 Incisor sniper rifle. I'm conflicted because I love the slow and steady of the Widow but the boom factor of the Incisor is sweet, too.
Love the new Kestrel armor, too. I have a utility belt!! Love how it rides on the hips, too. The chest plate I like because it actually looks like it's supporting and protecting the girls rather than defining them as a possible distraction for teammates and enemies.
Never cheated on Kaidan. Would never. Even to get my romance achievement...which I did...I started my one and only clean ME2 game with no ME1 presave. I hate all the default canon so I'm never going that route again. Not that I'll need to.

and after Kaet made such a commotion about taking her widow everywhere in all your fics too, lmao.  I'll have to get round to downloading the incisor & kestral armour one of these days, but $2 is currently a third of my weekly shopping budget, lol

Yeah I tried to play a default canon game but it sucked so I ended up deleting it, lol.

@Night...had it been real life I would never have gotten the achievement. I picked Thane as the least icky...Garrus is a bud and Jacob...yeah, will never go there, anyway, I started giggling the minute the cut scene started and it turned to full on laughter quickly after that. Real mood killer.Kind of felt bad for leading him on like that and even though my Shep wasn't romancing Kaidan, it still felt like I'd cheated on him.

I got the achievement with one of my femsheps but felt so bad when I saw Kaidan's picture face down that I deleted the whole game, lol. then my sheploo ended up getting the achievement anyway. Not that I worry too much about achievements in the first place, they really don't mean that much to me, and there are quite a few that I still haven't got and I I really don't care, lol

I didn't get the paramour achievement and I don't think I will. This makes me happy

I also created a new char in ME2 and HATED that BW practically chose everything for you. Pretty much everything bad that you could have done in ME is chosen for your new ME2 Shep. I thought we would have the option during Miranda's Q&A to choose the stuff that happened during ME.

I have trouble with the male Shep for the same reason, yep can't get past the Kaidan, even though I love Ash.... can't do it, so I just stopped.

Oddly enough, getting the achievement left me more loyal to Kaidan. How's that for twisted? Felt guilty about it, decided I was never doing it again and removed any doubt that the ME2 romances were not as compelling as ME1s.

@Kassy...I thought we'd have the options, too, and it really annoyed me that Wrex was dead. Council dead or alive meant little to me...still does, lol...but Wrex was the big deal breaker for me.

Remember, if you're going to cheat, don't remove EDI's blocks.  BW is watching you.  They're keeping track of how many lizards and cats you romance.  And you know what?  I just found the visual image that will keep me from cheating on Kaidan.  Somehow, I will now always think Stanley Woo and Chris Priestly are watching Shep and her ME2 LI get it on...

Shepard will remain...celibate.

I actually chose the 'I made Udina councillor' option in one of my playthroughs just to see if Miranda would say something about my memory being sh*t because I didn't, I always went with anderson in ME1 , lol. Sadly it just goes along with whatever you say there. I wanted Miranda to question my shep's memory and sanity and thought it would have been more interesting. Sadly it meant another deleted and/or reloaded playthrough, lol. I've lost count of how many times I've started playing ME2 only to delete the playthrough for one reason or another, lol.

It amuses me that Wrex seems to be the ex squaddie that is most happy to see Shep, especially as I'm very 'meh' about him, lol, although I never killed him on Virmire.

I did this today.  It doesn't actually make Udina the one you picked does it?

the first run through of ME2 I was like 'Damn...with friends and LI's like these who needs enemies?'

@chem - I really don't know. In ME, the game saves right before you meet with the Council and decide who will be the next member. I don't think that by saying "Udina" instead of "Anderson" will make Udina the member. Hmm...

I don't know if what you tell Miranda at the beginning overrides any import decision. In my Renegade playthrough, I had made Udina Councillor. That was interesting to say the least. Anderson is an Admiral then though.

Man, if I get to the Citadel and Udina is councilor just because I wanted to frustrate Miranda who is obviously not keeping abreast of current events, I'm going to fly into a fit of impotent rage, say insulting things about BioWare's parentage, and possibly throw things. Small things at durable objects...but there will be throwing.

I actually visualize Casey Hudson's face as he talks about how hard it would be for players to stay faithful whenever I think about cheating.  It kills that train of thought instantly.

But seriously, I've thought about why I have more attachment to Kaidan than I do to Alistair in Dragon Age (whom I cheat on with Zev at least once in every playthrough, even if I go back to him), and it's partially that Kaidan was the first video game LI that I actually liked, and he's also actually the kind of guy I would be lucky to find in real life. 

I also think too much, and most of the other Bioware LIs have flaws that make me disinterested.  I should have been this picky in real life when I was on the dating scene.

It also amuses me that no-one comments that much on the fact that not only is shepard seemingly back from the dead but she's flying around in a Normandy replica. You'd think that anderson or someone would express shock/concern/surprise or something, lol. Even Hackett sends an email asking shep to go to the Normandy crash site (which is just stupid after a gap of 2 years imo) but doesn't comment on the fact that she's alive or in a new Normandy. How many alliance people are in the know about Cerberus, I wonder? Is it really a black ops gone rogue or what? Was poor old Kahoku sacrificed for asking too may questions? the conspiracies abound

Kaidan is the first LI I ever knew so I will always have a soft spot for him. I just can't cheat on him. Even when I created a new ME2 char, I still felt guilty at "cheating" on Kaidan even though that Shepard didn't have a romance with him.



Both Zev and Alistair are great for me and, although I'm partial to Alistair, I don't feel guilty about creating a new character to romance Zev.
