Yeah it seems that Aria on Omega is more concerned about whether its really shepard than anyone in the alliance. Its like coming back from the dead is like an everyday occurrence. even Garrus doesn't really express that much surprise but more of a what took you so long response. Hell I'd be going freaking mental if I was anderson/the council/Udina/anyone else in the freaking galaxy, lol (forgivee me if I don't make sense I'm a little bit pissed (aussie for drunk, lol)

As far as Zev & Alistair go - Zev creeps me out as a romance but I love him as my wardens best friend. I did try to romance him once but felt so mean to Alistair that the old delete/reload came into play again. I adore Alistair too much, not to romance him (like Kaidan I guess, lol)

@Sesheta - If that was Kaidan's official outfit I think I wouldn't be able to play ME3....unless it had another scene like in ME1

I think Kaidan is the one that has at least some sort of a reaction to Shepard "being dead". Everyone else is like "Hey, you're back! That's...great".

I'm surprised Hackett didn't send Shepard on any more side missions what with the new Normandy and all.

Hi there people.

Regarding lack of shock over Shepard's resurrection: Yeah, Bailey's reaction was odd. "Oh, my scanner says you're dead. I'll press this button for you without asking WHY it might think you're dead. Because, you know, people coming back from the dead isn't shocking in the least." 
My reaction would be more like, "WTF YOU WERE DEAD. "



(I just remembered: the band director at my school has a son named Kaidan. I don't know if he spells it that way, I have no idea how he spells it, but when a bunch of us were having a water gun fight and he joined in, I said to myself, "Aww, Kaidan's cute. Wait a minute... KAIDAN. Hehe."
Btw, he's 4. XD)

@Kassy - well he has to cover up his bits with something in public. My shepard, don't share with the rest of the galaxy, but she wouldn't mind him being out of uniform in private, lol



yeah everytime Kelly told my shep that she had new email I was half expecting it to be be a mission from Hackett, lol

I think the one that got me was the scanner turian at the citadel.

Turian: "This is the greatest DNA scanner ever - even if it thinks you're dead."

Shepard: "Yeah?  What if I'm a clone?  Or a twin sister?"

Turian: "... Yes, ma'am.  Greatest DNA scanner ever!"

Shepard: "...I hate technology."

The death and ressurection thing could have been handled so much better.  <_<

But fortunately, there's Kaidan.

My first Me2 playthrough I was being so paranoid about what choices I went with. I kept thinking ooh I have to play nice so Kaidan doesn't get pissed off at me when I find him - little did I know, lmao

@sesh - yeah, Kaidan's uniform in Shepard's quarter only, lol. I don't think I would let him out onto the ship in just a towel though.  Edit: Oh gosh, if I had only known the horror of Horizon. I honestly thought we were going to have more contact with Kaidan.

@Phoenix - I know! Poor Shep. Everyone uses her but nobody asks her what she wants (Kaidan).

I honestly thought that we'd have to save him from the collectors in a pod at the end of the game. I wasn't expecting the Horizon reunion at all, lol
from what the devs had said on the old forums I was expecting a cameo but not what we ended up with, lol

Yeah, I was running around Horizon thinking "Gotta get to Kaidan, gotta get to Kaidan..." and then I see the Collector ship leave and I was like "Noooo, my Kaidan's on there!". I figured that was why he wouldn't be able to join me in ME2, but I was really really wrong.

edit - in my mind my shep then goes and biotically destroys pretty  much in the cargo bay in frustration.  It really sh*ts me that I can't go and vent my feelings with Joker/chakwas/Garrus - I thought they at least would talk to me about Kaidan (well Joker does vaguely but it's not enough.  My shepard needs to vent, damn it)

I had Kasumi with me when I went to Horizon. Her and Garrus....

I felt like Kasumi should have been like 'Hey Shep, was this the guy you were talking about that you loved? Oh must have been unrequited...sorry.'

Yeah I'm sure if it had been Tali or Garrus every crew member and their dog would have come out of the woodwork to talk to shep. but poor old Kaidan - I really think the devs were hoping that we would all forget about our ME1 LI's seeing as they thought the ME2 LI's were so 'compelling'. I'm afraid that compelling is in the eye of the beholder and none of them were a patch on Kaidan's romance with both Garrus & Jacob representing a sleazy quickie for me and Thane being a you're dying pity "f*** for me. (sorry for any offence, it is unintentional, lol)

Alright i just want to put it out there...romancing my best friend (Garrus) was AWKWARD! I did it for the hell of it for one play through. TOTALLY AWKWARD!

As a huge fan of Garrus I can tell you that I liked the awkwardness of their flirtation and final encounter. Garrus obviously doesn't hit me physically on the sexy side, except for his voice. But I still find the idea of a longstanding friend becoming a romantic partner very appealing. Garrus's quirkiness grew on me really fast. I alternately romance Garrus and wait for Kaidan.

But, dear God, Kaidan's dark eyes. You could swim in them.
