I got the achievement the first time I played the game, I romanced Garrus.

I don't see how that would affect the game where I romanced Kaidan and didn't cheat. My main Shepard doesn't have a LI anyway, I just wanted to see what his romance would be like. Would be my personal favorite in ME2.

Would the statistics even show how many people romanced who?

Naw because there weren't separate paramour achievements for each romance like Dragon Age.

That paramour achievement is stupid. I got it for Meg, but it shouldn't penalize Avery.

I have more than one Shepard (I had 9 before my last XBOX RROD'ed, I've got three on the one I have now).  I'm not going to not play half the game just because of a stupid achievement.  But, I'm also probably never going to get Brawler simply because I lack the in-game coordination.

I don't want to have to abstain myself from playing a good part of the game because it may penalize myself. I'm not worried about cheating since my Shep is always clear, nobody from ME1 tied to her. Granted, my xbox isn't even connected to the internet and doubt it will be anytime soon.

I played with vanguard first so that achievement was pretty much in the bag as soon as I got charge. Charge, shotgun, and kick you when your down...Mwuahahahahahaha...ehem.. Excuse me.

I'd write a long treatise about why Garrus, but, well, that's what Loved is for.

Yeah i'm with you there, Garrus is like my Sheps best friend so i couldn't possibly romance him. I can never bring myself to do it with any of them. Also i must nag Phoenix to finish SR, i'm going mad waiting for it:O

By crushing our hopes and dreams and turning Ash/Kaidan into some kind of tragic figure by having them admit their love to you and then almost immediately thereafter being killed by the reapers in the initial invasion 20 seconds into the prologue?
